I came to the Rave to find like minded people. I am not a vampire...I just live an alternative lifestyle.

This statement might lead you to ask...what is alternative about you? Well, I am heavily tattooed. Recently, I met a friend from the Rave in person and they were surprised at how much ink I really have. So, Yes, the pictures are all of me. The funny part is I have more that are not on this portfolio!

I am a teacher by profession.

I am also a mother. But these things do not define who I am. I am myself. I am often quiet and shy. I believe in the art of CHILL.

You may be wondering what I believe in...of course you very well may not be wondering...who knows. I am still going to tell you...

I believe in my power as a mature woman. I am excited as I watch my daughter learn her potential as a human and a woman. As my power grows, my life comes more into balance. What beauty and blessings I have been given to enjoy in my life!

Family is my greatest blessing. Please allow me to introduce you to them.

No, the shark isn't family! Isn't this just the coolest thing ever? I held a baby shark, in my hand, and CAREFULLY took the hook out of its mouth cause Titan was a wimp. What a beautiful day that was!

I have traveled, a LOT! (ex-military spouse) and have seen many things. I have taken Mass at a cathedral in the mountains of Tuscany. I shopped in a market in Thailand that was like Aladdin's Cave...only dirtier. Walking around the streets in Japan after 9 PM is a JOY! Sailed by yacht through the Abacos, bought Coach Purses in Seoul, had my picture taken in more cities than can be remembered and ridden a double decker bus in Singapore with my daughter just for the fun of it.

I have truly led a blessed life.

We lived on Guam for three years. They were the three best years of my life. The island, people, and everything! was wonderful.

While on Guam, I felt my perspective on life shifting. We did not return to the US for three full years. During this time we traveled Asia. Traveling in Asian countries really changed my perspective on how my life was. American's don't understand. They don't understand anything.

Then 9-11 happened and American's learned the hardest lesson they will ever learn. You are not safe in your own country. While on vacation in Thailand we had to leave a day early because extremists had beheaded two Canadian missionaries. Hugging my daughter to my body in a second class sleeper train berth as we traveled through the night to get away, I realized that none of us are safe anywhere.

Saying this, I have to tell you all (who are still reading) that I am deeply patriotic.

Also while living on Guam I learned how to dive. I am a certified Divemaster with over 200 pleasure dives. As you look at my pictures below (YES, there is more!) you will see that the theme of the majority of my tattoo's is the ocean.

The ocean quickly became my zen and I learned more about myself in a short period of time than I ever wanted to know. The experiences I had have profoundly affected my life.

When I became a Divemaster, I rewarded myself with my first tattoo. I was 38. Now, I am covered and Titan says it is my addiction. My response? I love my addiction so much I helped a friend start his own studio.
