The Indians were described as being very hospitable, and were thought of as remarkable for their belief in sharing.
In October, we honor Christopher Columbus, who opened the Atlantic slave trade and launched one of the greatest waves of genocide known in history.
Christopher Columbus, was a slave trader, a gold digger, a missionary, and even a war profiteer in the name of Ferdinand and Isabella. The arrival of Columbus's small fleet on what is now San Salvador (that's Spanish for "Holy Savior") was greeted by the "decorous and praiseworthy" Taino Indians (Columbus's words) and was followed almost immediately by mass enslavement, amputation for sport, and a genocide that claimed over four million people in four years.

Spaniards "thought nothing of knifing Indians by tens and twenties and of cutting slices off them to test the sharpness of their blades. They forced their way into native settlements, slaughtering everyone they found there, including small children, old men, pregnant women, and even women who had just given birth. They hacked them to pieces, slicing open their bellies with their swords as though they were sheep herded into a pen. They even laid wagers on whether they could manage to slice a man in two at a stroke, or cut an individual's head from his body, or disembowel him with a single blow of their axes. They grabbed suckling infants by the feet and, ripping them from their mothers' breasts, dashed them headlong against the rocks. Others, laughing and joking all the while, threw them over their shoulders into a river, shouting: 'Wriggle, you litle perisher.' They slaughtered anyone on their path ..."

"Indian Removal" policy was put into action to clear the land for white settlers. Methods for the removal included slaughter of villages by the military and also biological warfare. High death rates resulted from forced marches to relocate the Indians.

The Removal Act of 1830 set into motion a series of events which led to the "Trail of Tears" in 1838, a forced march of the Cherokees, resulting in the destruction of most of the Cherokee population." The concentration of American Indians in small geographic areas, and the scattering of them from their homelands, caused increased death, primarily because of associated military actions, disease, starvation, extremely harsh conditions during the moves, and the resulting destruction of ways of life.

Most Native American's have had to change their names to get into a college in the United States. I know because my father had to change our name to get into school even a good job.

50-85 % of the Native Americans are unemployed, and they have the lowest life hope compared with other ethnic groups in US; they also have the highest rates of diabetes, TBC and alcoholism, connected to cirrhosis, deadly accidents, suicide and crime.

I am in love with one of the best people in the world. I'm the manager of the seafood department at rouse a local store here in Morgan City. I love meeting new people so if you want drop me a line and I’ll write you back asap, when I get home or when I wake up.

I love talking about anything dealing with death and I love pain. I live in the world using a human body to get some things and get strong again to prey off others sadness. I love the taste of blood.

As we lose the tears in our past and a bit of us die. We learn to hate the world a little more. Then when we find a great women or man we see a little light in their eyes but some times it scares us off and we lose them forever. I lost a woman that way, she was and is in most ways still my everything I might not tell her that but you know you are straw. I love you so much.

Come set in the land of opened minds with me and see the world for what it is. You have to come with an open mind and death will join us. As we set on the ground looking out we will feel the hands of our past grabbing us and showing us what we don't want to see. From a beloved death to the things that made you what you are at this moment. Remember the words I say to you now for this really is a welcome to my nightmare world. Leave some blood on my table for the night time is the best.
