The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I am here because my foster son follows the path of the Vampire. I am working to understand this path. I also have a young son who is interested in things Gothic.
I am Asatru and have been the whole of my life. It was my mother who gave me the name of Valkerie and I hold to that name. I enjoy a variety of things from Sewing to Medieval recreation. I also belly dance, ghost hunt and am killer at tarot. I cannot be pinned down to just one thing. I am a diabetic so I shed my blood many times a day (lol) I love old cemeteries and things Victorian as well as Medieval.
I was a school teacher for the deaf for many years so I am fluent in sign language. I later decided to stay home to home school my son. I am extremely involved with the Asatru community and with my own Heathen Kindred. My foster son is grown and makes his own decisions and while I still have control and influence over what my young son does, I encourage him to follow his own beat and not be contained by what society feels he should be.
