The idea of something so alien scared me as a child. Now I laugh at it. I still wouldn't want it on me. Hate slime! Got to love the old classic horror movies. I still watch them. At least you can hide in shelters from zombies but the blob can get through the crevices and cracks on doors and windows.

How do you even describe it.? Funny, after seeing that as a kid, I never liked jello.

Why jello? It's shapeless and it moves! Probably why I hated making polymers in chemistry class. Death by quicksand always terrified me. However in art, you can take a shapeless blob and turn it into a masterpiece.

There are some real life blobs like the slime mold that are actually colorful but still I hate the goo.

However I do like lava lamps because at least the blob is contained in a bottle.

I like liquids better than solids. They can be creative with shapes. Don't really like gases especially when they smell.

When I'm not watching the old Blob movies, I watch all the classic monster movies.
