my second birth was in 1165 a.d. when i was just 34 years old. since that time i have seen the future become the past, the rise and fall of kings and queens. i have watched empires rise and fall like the breast of a beautiful woman sleeping.

i have survived countless attacks on my being; poision, strangulation, hanging, being run through and gun shots. i have had my time on the rack, i have been up close and personal with torquamda seer of the spanish inquisition and i have walked through countries infested with the plauge. all of these things have happened to me and each time i have come out unscathed.

my portrait has been painted at least a dozen times all by the masters of the styles. i have dined with more royalty than any other being on this planet. i have done all these things and many more too numerious to put down on paper.

i have stopped wars and created them. i have solved the problems of this world and caused them. all just so i could see if i could do it, just to satisfy my own desires. until i find myself in this the year of your lord 2005.

in this year i still find myself at the age of 34 years. of course i have not aged since my second birth. i have followed my father like his father before him and i have adopted the guise of a barber. i work with my father and will be taking over the shop to let him enjoy some much needed and deserved rest. it is kind of funny that i have choose to be a barber because one of my favorite operas happens to be the barber of seville. maybe a bit odd maybe not. please read my journal to learn more
