Cool. ^.^
What about the fact that the Ankh represents both life and death? Not to forget immortality. Though, if the user decides to use the Ankh for the purpose of entertainment then that's up to him/her.
But, there is some sort of association to vampires. If immortality is the only link associating the symbol to vampires.
A lot of "living vampires" see the Ankh as a symbol of immortality and incorporate it into their lifestyle and use it in ceremonies. Not necessarily for bloodletting.
I love articles and opinions! Just thought I'd put my two cents in considering my love of all things Egyptian and vampiric. I'm horrible, I know.
lol
Cool
Sure they're used a lot, but for a reason :P
Ankhs are an egytian symbol of life. That is why I'm getting a tattoo of one. But there is no need for anyone to be angry about it and display their anger. It is a waste of time, noone cares.

to an extent i agree with you, but my friend, you should also look at it like maybe it is a good thing that so many use the ankh. it shows life. although i do understand from where it is you lay these claims. mayhap we should take into consideration is true power and worth, but do not be offended by it. mayhap the egyptian religion will grow because of it. life is part of the suggle in the vampire would is it not? eternal life can be a gift and a burden. remember that and tahnkyou for sharing your thoughts.
I tend to use the ankh not as a trendy symbol, but to represent what I believe. I'm an Isian, and I also respect and uphold the Veil.
Those of us who do such tend to identify ourselves by wearing the sanguinarium ankh.
For me it's not a trendy thing, it does have meaning. So many people don't know these things.
interesting
COOL
well where did you people think all this began?
nifty
