The Marvel Legends Hulk: Build-A-Figure Fin Fang Foom Wave 1: Case of 8 includes the following figures:
2x Wave 1 “The End” Hulk is accompanied by the left wing and arm portions required to assemble the 15” Build-A-Figure Fin Fang Foom. Based upon the artwork of Dale Keown, “The End” Hulk action figure bears a passing resemblance to the Maestro. His hair is reduced to receding white wisps, his fingernails and toenails are overgrown in the semblance of blunt talons, and his dark green flesh has a leathery texture. This version of the Savage Hulk is the only survivor of a nuclear holocaust. He resents the Banner portion of himself because Banner’s presence prevents the Hulk from being completely alone, and the wizened Banner’s wish to simply die countermines the Hulk’s relentless quest to distinguish himself as the strongest being on Earth.
2x Wave 1: Wendigo is accompanied by the right wing and arm portions required to assemble the 15” Build-A-Figure Fin Fang Foom. The Wendigo is a ghoulish, muscular creature sheathed in a pelt of grey-white fur, with its horrible red maw mindlessly agape. The mystical curse of the Wendigo is visited upon any human that practices cannibalism within the confines of the Canadian wilderness. In most instances, the human identity is irreversibly lost, enabling the Wendigo creature to utter no word other than its name. The Wendigo is driven by relentless compulsion to feed, and though the creature largely attacks human prey, it is powerful and resilient enough to battle the likes of the Hulk.
2x Wave 1: Skaar, Son of Hulk is accompanied by the torso portion required to assemble the 15” Build-A-Figure Fin Fang Foom. The barbarically-clad Skaar is decorated with tribal markings, and is equipped with a pair of roughhewn swords. Introduced during the World War Hulk storyline, Skaar is the offspring of the Hulk and Caiera the Oldstrong; Skaar survived his mother’s death in the form of cocoon that fell into the lake of fire and later hatched a preteen equivalent Skaar. Initially imbued with a measure of superhuman strength, Skaar later developed the ability to draw power from the planet and harden his body in the manner of Caiera.
1x Wave 2: King Hulk is accompanied by a portion of the tail required to assemble the 15” Fin Fang Foom. Clad in gladiatorial attire, sporting a diadem and an armor-plated left arm, King Hulk is equipped with a battle axe and a sword. The Hulk attains his royal station by usurping the throne of Sakaar from the tyrannical Red King. Alongside his queen, Caiera the Oldstrong, King Hulk sets about the task of bringing comparative order to Sakaar. Unfortunately, the vessel used to transport Hulk to Sakaar explodes, killing Caiera and destroying Sakaar, prompting the Hulk to gather his allies, the Warbound, and to return to Earth with the intention of annihilating the Illuminati.
1x Wave 1: Savage She-Hulk is accompanied by the head and tail portion required to assemble the 15” Fin Fang Foom. Lithely-muscled and long-legged, the She-Hulk appears to be clad in a real fabric tattered white dress. This version of She-Hulk recalls her appearance throughout the original run of her comic title: a comparatively morose and humorless She-Hulk, quick-tempered and blunt-minded, lacking the Hulk’s savagery but frequently given to destructive anger-fueled tantrums. Originally the She-Hulk stubbornly attempted to maintain the human aspect of her alter ego as attorney Jennifer Walters, and only seemed to develop a more formulaic superhero appearance when she began hobnobbing with the likes of the Avengers and the Fantastic Four.
*****NOTE: This case DOES NOT contain all of the pieces required to assemble the complete Fin Fang Foom Build-A-Figure, but does contain one or more each of all of the pieces available in this wave. The forthcoming Wave 2 is assumed to contain the rest of the pieces.
