In this world, Spear of Destiny is one of 13 artifacts. It has a power of foresight. With it one can destroy demons and beings of magic. Spear of Destiny is a holy weapon of Magdalenas.

A ship was sunk by Miguel Estacado and the holy icon The Spear of Destiny was stolen by the Darkness. A Magdalenas was given a mission to infiltrate Hitler's bunker, recovering the spear. Since then, the Magdalenas, have been out to destroy the wielders of the Darkness. The present Magdalena, is a woman named Mariella, who is sent after the Darkness, she is given the Spear as a weapon for his destruction.

Featuring Characters Jake McCarthy, Julie Pezzini, Magdalena & the Spear of Destiny, Sara Pezzini & the Witchblade...Sara and the Witchblade seek to save Jackie from his eminent death.

When battling Jackie, the spear is broken, and a random bystander picks up the head of the spear taking it to a hospital with him. He is a believer, and seeing it glow he leaves it at a hospital, hoping it will do some good there.
