depends on what you consider slavery....
in ancient greece slaves were better educated than some of their owners....they were the teachers
they were often well treated and considered part of the family
in other parts of the world however...they were the dirt beneath ones feet
but please keep in mind....all the greatest wonders man has created from the wall of china to the pyramids would not exist without slavery

Should Vampires Treat humans as slaves? Well, if you wanted to go by RPG aspect, they were slaves before they were free. Cattle, live stock, there for their masters will to live only.

Yet at a more Realistic and True Vampire POV. I think Humans were more like Commoners and those born into the blood was more like Nobles.

As for now, No need for Slavery, everyone has a slave in some way, shape or form. Willing Admits to being a slave, or perhaps the person that you love and vice versa, they tend, in a sense to be a slave as well.

I feel the initial response that Krush had to his own question was rather disturbing.

SO, there is my rather long-winded answer that slavery is a 2-way street of sorts, and it depends on the 'contract' of sorts between the Dom and sub.

they may have the advantage of day roaming,but we could lock them up or even have them in a building during day and have vampires switch off in the day to keep watch inside buildings. think about it!

I agree with Tonya and Chaos....the idea is pretty nutty. Nothing good ever came out of the slave thing in general. Why demoralize someone like that?

I don't think so. I've never really believed in the concept, i think we should not befriend them, but not treat them as slaves. just use them for food, and blood bonds (if you're like that) otherwise humans are merely fellow inhabitants on this planet.

why not show them what they do? they wiould kill us or inslave us the first chance they got! or at least most of them would.

humans fear what they can not comprehand. they fear what they do not understand!

just because humans in general fear what we do not understand doesnt mean that we should be enslaved. I dont' believe vampires should be enslaved either. I agree to the extent that vampired would be persecuted if they all came out at once......maybe it would have to be a process with alot of learning involved or something..*shrug*
