There is not an explicit rule against repeatedly reloading your profile. But for those of you out there that have nothing better to do than continually click reload on your browser, sooner or later you are going to really piss me off.

You are wasting resources that other members could be utilizing.

The biggest offenders:

yea on that Cancer. In comparsion I 've been here like close on 9 m0nths now with 7,000 something views heh, never mind weeks!

yeah i know, i just saw that at the top its freakin insane...

people do it by the thousands. damn, i have been here for over 4 months and i only have 2620 pages viewed currently. that is just riddiculos

i think that people who do that should get in trouble like supspended(sp?) or something.....

o ok then that sounds like a good idea, but make it a public announcement so people know, like send a message to everyone telling them the new rule.

idk if i am one i dont mean to be i jus try to keep my profile as updated as i can and check my messages and shish.... i dont really try to become best i jus try to become known and its working pretty good ^_^ but i dont try to keep reloading myprofile O_O

the only reason i click refresh is my internet acts up when in on sites. i hope that im not one either i highly doubt i am but yeah.i would never do that with my profile cuz thats just immature...

my moms comp use to go into a sortove reloading frenzy and on every site it went to the loading bar would constantly reload and the page would refresh, it drove her nuts thankfully i havent gone on her comp ne more i have my own yay!

I'm not talking about instances where a user loads their profile a lot to see comments left. There's a big difference between doing that, and reloading your profile thousands of times per day to gain position on The Top list.

ok, now see.....i agree with u all the way cancer and i think u should remove it, that should help with the constant clicking ur own profile to get the top posistion thing i mean not to sound harsh but c'mon now how in hell do u manage to get over 20,000 pages veiwed in 3 weeks, it adgitates me(curse my spelling)

Yes, this is their warning and if they don't stop then they should just get banned. You shouldn't have to put up with all that, they're disrespectful especially since you're doing this out of the kindness of your heart.

I check my profile at least once every couple days just to read any comments left.

I hope that will not be breaking the rules.
I also make changes to my profile and portfolio and things like that.

I wouldn't want to break the rules. I love it here and Cancer and the administration is doing a great job with this site.

the only reason I refresh my own profile is that I'm updating it like I did yesterday. I learned something new and it took a bit for me to get the hang of it. But when I did add something I wanted to check to make sure it worked cause I was doing html something I have never done before..
I think we someone is breaking the rules you should send them a message first. I would hope that I wouldn't do that if I did it was not perpously.(sp) Cause if I do something wrong I would like to be warned and not just banned.. unless i kept doing it then I would understand.

I don't think that's really an issue. The people here are reloading their pages all the time. If you were to start having thousands of page views then it's a problem.

That is dumb to have sit there an loaded that many pages!!! I have been here just over a month and I am not even close to that!!

for a minute I was scarred I offten veiw my profile after adding.. but I'm not that bad.. lol there is only so much I can do...
