4)Gift to see things such as auras or blood mist?
5) To feel people *empathic skills*?
6) To have improved hearing?
Are the most common to what the "newbie" gains, as to which in particular, it's up to the story line
I always thought it was death and then immortality. Than after that comes the unquechable urge to drink.
Hmmm *ponders* I agree with Dhampirs idea od a gradual trnasformation, including all of those things in time (except the last one of course.)
I'll bite.
I would say none of the above. You may become violently ill at first, then one of two things would happen. A: it will fight your mortal blood every step of the way until adventurally either it will kill you from the inside out or slowly very very slowly will it die out or B; drink more and the more permanant changes would accure.
I see it being a long process of a couple of hours at least you have to die then re awaken. I'd say the first gift would depend on the person kinda like cold symptoms maybe?
#1
Once you body has transformed and you are immortal, then your body will gradually gain the rest of the gifts.
Myth: You become a vampire by drinking (or being injected by) a vampire's blood (without dying first)
SY: *Yes
Note: contributor Eissej the Rouske says: They never flat out say, but they imply that by drinking vampire blood is what kills you. You definitely have to drink their blood, and the change is definitely immediate (or nearly so) and you also have to still be alive when it happens, but I can't find anyplace that says rather you are killed by becoming a vampire or if you have to be dying when you drink.
Have to agree with HellChildDami on this one. Its what i've heard to.
Okay I am going to go with most of the people on here and say number 1... but if thats not right then put me down for the right answer ::: smiles:::
