whats ur opinion on fox hunting

i think that it is wrong although i can see why its done, its their way of controlling the population and numbers of foxes, though they enjoy it and that is really really wrong foxes were probably here before we even exsisted so what right do humans have to do that, just cause they are the dominant spices.

i think that they should be put in the forest with nothing and then hunted down and see how it feels to be the hunted and not the hunter.

Yeah, Foxes where a treat for the Cavemen *grins*.. Population control, interesting.. Has any looked at the statistics on the human population growth? Would it be fair to start hunting humans from countries where there's too many of them? Fox hunting is savage.. simple as.. and a total ban should and will be soon inplemented....

that is what are army do! alot of my friends fox hunt. it is fun for them but the foxes need to be controld because we wiped out ther natural preditors the woolf! i know it sounds harsh but the fox dies quickly and does not feel much. if it is shot it could stay alive days suffering from its woonds.

since the ban on one of my friends farms they just started shooting them insted! with fox hunting each mounth 5 to 10 foxes might be killed. now people shoot them insted they are likly to be wiped out as they shoot 10 t0 20 a night sometims and if that continues it wont be long till there are none left!

First I am not for hunting. I Understand around here they say there are to many deers. Funny stop cutting all the f-ing trees and there home land and you want see as many deers. I dont know about the problems in other parts of the world just here. But hell what about people controld.

Well, you have to take things such as population control etc into consideration.

However there are MUCH better ways to do that than chasing a fox with starved dogs; scaring the poor thing out of its wits for hours until it finally gets ripped to pieces all in the name of upper class british tradition.

I dont think I even need to say whether In for or against now do I.

Humankind has so F'ed uo the environment that we now have to play god to try to keep things in some semblence of order, of course, to meet our needs. Unfortunately, there are so many things that we have screwed up that has no solution, yet our politicians and leaders of industry - driven by a greedy and still unaware, uneducated and uncaring public mainstream - stab mother earth's heart and gouge out her eyes. It hurts to see where are going, and the 'need' for a fox hunt, deer hunt, jack rabbit club fest, etc is a symptom of this.
I think given our situation now, it is needed, however it ought to be done more humanley (how does one kill humanely?)

I think Maxxman has an excellent point. However, now that all is so imbalanced, we need to concentrate on a moral balance, mixed with the concerns of control...

CONTROL. why are we so obsessed with controlling EVRYTHING?
