#1... Not everyone in the world celebrates April Fools Day,
#2... Cancer has worked long and hard to create a site for people to come to, to learn new things, meet people, talk, chat, what ever. A site to my knowledge does not have a lot of the features such as biting and stalking, lurking, and what ever else the man thinks up. All to make the site more fun and interesting. There are people who don’t seem to care or appreciate all the hours and hard work he’s put in to make this site a success. They waste time and bandwidth posting things such as this and other threads that are pretty much meaningless to the site it’s self. There are also people who take this site and the friends they met and make seriously. They appreciate all the knowledge they gain by being here. They become as much a part of this site as some of the original members, and they take to heart when others treat it poorly. When others take advantage of the completely FREE site, to those who choose not to purchase memberships. Which no one is forced to, there are those who purchase memberships to help with the cost of keeping this site alive and growing. EVERYONE is a part of this site, and in some cases some people find it to be a “home away from home”. And just as it would upset you for some to come into your “home” and trash it up it upsets those of us who do happen to care about the site and how it is treated. There are new people who could contemplate being members who could see something like the title of this thread and think, “It’s closing, well I don’t want part of it.” Yes it’s April Fools Day ha ha
