Astral Vamps: Are they only on the astral plane or are they vampires in real life who project themselves astrally in order to have a better feeding range?

~Mairi~, if you talking about the myth of the Mare (where the term, "nightmare" came from), as a spiritual entity that shows up in dreams... then perhaps it could astral travel through the ethereal planes, yeah.

If your talking about an actual vampire who supports the feeding method of astral feeding, this is a conceptual idea and could be believed by perspective and faith alone.

There is also a method called, Remote Viewing. I would research that if I were you for more info.

The psi, also known as physic or psionic Vampires are like any other creature in that it will feed off of that which sustains them. The true difference and factor which defines the type of vampire is in the energy types we choose to consume.
There are a lot of different energies a vampire can feed from. Sexual, emotional, and astral are some of the most common ones but there are really only two types of energies... positive and negative.

Some choose to seek out donors or form partnerships in order to meet their needs. These psionics are usually loving and feed off of sexual or other natural energies. They respect the relationship which fuels their needs. This way is seen as positive energy because of the emotional state in which you leave the person you feed from, i.e. there is no force involved and consent is always given prior to the act of feeding.

Those of our kin who prefer the darker energies, seem to enjoy the potency given off by fear or negative energy. They will obviously make situations which produce this type of emotional energies from those they intend to feed from... with or without approval. For this reason most dark energy feeders will feed from astral means or in dreams, never in person because the risks are to great.
Some emotional vampires go so far as to purposely cause the types of personal drama needed by constantly having those around them in dismay. That doesn't mean that all dark energy feeders use force to obtain what they need as there is a large number of poeple within other alternative communities who enjoy the sensation of pain, torture, and near death sexual experiences enough to allow a vampire to indulge themselves.

I agree with you Severus but are there not those who just troll the astral plane looking for those who are unable to stop them to feed upon?

~Mairi~, the astral/ethereal plane is not a playground for souls to just merry-go-round and have fun. It takes alot of control to travel and even more so to actually navigate each plain. If an influential soul were to master the astral, I am sure that soul would have better things to do than to just, "troll" the planes and to, "feed" from unaware living matter.

In my opinion, Severus said it best. There are enough ways to feed other than going into the astral realm. Am I saying no one has, much-less tried? Of course not! I don't put anything past anyone. Those looking for a challenge may try and even succeeded; however, as Soulshroude said, theres a lot more important things to do in the astral plane.

The idea that someone enlightened enough to master traveling beyond the normal would some how be less likely to waste there time with such trivial acts is assuming a lot.
Space travel is beyond the ability of all other creature... That doesn't mean man is anymore enlightened or civil for accomplishing it.

One can suppress and even escape many things, your nature is usually not one of them.

Also.. we are always in the astral, it's all around us. While riding in one state of consciousness may be done, so can just "trolling" sites like vr. Looking for threads like this one. Connections can be made astrally with all senses at all times.

Are you telling this audience that even online is a venture through the astral? Being online and feeding off of someone energy through the internet is a conceptual astral supposition?

I find that unlikely. Electronics, on the lower frequencies such as the internet is... will not allow for that kind of interaction (not talking about feeding, talking about astral walking). These are two separate things... the internet may be a physical thing, but it is more electronic where as the astral is a meta-physical thing which has no relevance over electronic frequencies lower than that which is needed for astral travel.

In lamens terms, you cannot astral travel through something on the physical level.

What I am pointing out is that via all the sympathetic conexions online one can have a direct link to another. With that, it possible to walk towards that link and of course pull and push energy thru it. So when the question was asked about astral vamps trolling the astral I mentioned that there are easier ways to find people such as online. Once found, they may follow that link for all sorts of reasons.

FS is right. Its been my experience since being on VR that quite a lot of 'thirsty' minds have been knocking at my door of late. But many of these like many 'astral travellers' are unconscous and dont psychically project via their conscous will.

It is possible for a human to project onto the astral to feed , but it is a very difficult process . Once out of your body there has to be a certain someone who dominates your mind any hesatation or moral guilt leads to indicision and loss of will. The will must be totally focused on where your going and who your going to hag , even then it's still problematic . It's hard at this level of consciousness to keep your alertness and not decend into a mundane dream state . With a focused will you can either travel to a place where you know their be or you can pull them to you . Traveling distance can often be distracting and lead to a loss of will , pulling them to you is most easily done through feeling or visulising there presance and using that to follow down to there sleeping bodies or astral selfs . The chances of you actually effecting them to the degree that they've felt it in real life is rare and take's a tremendous amount of force , and if your on the astral to feed you don't want to be exerting more than your taking in unless you want to scare the crap out of them . The hardess trick is to find them , the second hardest part is actually feeding , this took me a long time to learn and i'm still refining it . You can hag them in the tradional manner and jump upon the brest and crush the living shit out of them and keep them trapped in their bodies till they release fear (which you feed off). For this you relying on brute force and your will being considrably stronger than their's or you'll get in a fight . Or you can be much more subtle keeping yourself invisable (on a higher energy vibration than them )and keeping you intention hidden , stalk them , penertate their aura (sink into them ) and suck out their life force . At the moment i like to feed in a way that combines subtle stalk and then brute force attack . However there is a third way , in which you merge subtley with them , so subtley that you can initally absorb their emotions , and then penertate their actual psychie's . This is tricky because you are effectivly decending back into dream one that's alot lower in energy vibration to you, keeping alert is nearly impossible . In this way you can penertrate their dreams and effect horrific nightmares , cat and mouse type senario's to effect an energy release . I wish i could do this , it's only happened a few times , but keeping will up in the subtle layers of consciousness is very hard .

Yeah, exactly Moonbubble. You got to be some left hand path yogi guru to pull off stunts like that and in the end is it worth it? Maybe someone with talents in that field can have this as a lifestyle, but to me its not normal. But creating elemental-minions either conscously or unconscously is more a norm from my standpoint. If not for my unholy annointing I'd have been sucked dry the first week as well as the actual minions disturbing my meditations and sleep- who I sent scurrying off by the way!

OutOfSync - Don't send them scurrying off , there the best link you have to the other side . Use them , mimic them , they've opened so many doors for me . Without them i doubt i'd be able to do any of the things i can . I've been so lucky to have this weird spirit attached to me and teaching me stuff , so are you , if you've got one use it .

It is of course possible. I don't know much about the psi side of the house. The ability for them to project to the astral plane and actually have the ability to feed unencumbered may exist.

That's a good question and I can kind of provide half of an answer as I am a Psi that feeds in several different ways.. Astral being one of them. I am a Vampyre all the time, in my every day life and in my sleep. So yes, they CAN BE a full time Vampyre.

I can honestly say this, as I sleep I meditate, oin this state I am able to travel astrally, in some cases I do feed, but if I do it is from someone who knows me personnally and has allowed me to feed from them astrally, or I go hunt for animal blood. Either way spending too much time astrally can weaken one, and in the waking world you feel tired and irritable. This coming from personal experience. Call it as you like Astral vamp/ psi vamp, they are both the same IMO.

Twas the latter mentioned of the two options. Astral Vampires are usually Psychic Vampires that project themselves through the Astral planes to feed.

It sounds like the jewish myth of Lilith..the first wife of Adam who refused to submit to him and tormented his sons by visiting them in dreams draining them of their life slowly.

I have known a couple of vampires that would astral travel but it was never to feed. Each of them had other things going on which caused them to astral travel. I have been visited by them on more than one occasion. I know it can be done but feeding was not the reason they did it. Each of them kept their feeding to their surrounding area.
