Do you think that some of the topics are a bit Far Fetched or true to reality and our beliefs.

I think quite a few a quite far off in never never land...
In a land of insanity though being sane is a detriment.

Perhaps they correlate vampires with a foreign reality. If that's the case, nothing else would be considered far-fetched.

I have had my far fetched ideas and even a few far fetched posts but I think some people really do believe what they say. I know this is all in fun but what I may think is fun others think is real. And then when one person brings to life a real topic for discussion, others tend to mock it. Maybe it’s just fresh for fantasy…Uh Oh dating myself again.

Well I think the awnser to silly topics and threads is to starve them of meaninful, creative and inteligent responces. After all people come online to escape the tripe of reality tv and meaningless spamovision.... substance has it's own appeal and well it stands quite well on it's own when given a chance.

nothing is far fetched to the person who thinks of the topic, it may be far fetched to others cause we all have different views to the topics.

I agree some of the topics are getting way out of hand. I started a thread in the gotic match section about something close to this... I believe its called intellignece tossed aside. I think forum topics are getting way of course. Most of the topics which invole some thinking are getting pushed to the back so people can answer topics fast and move up in levels. THIS IS NOT WHAT VR IS ABOUT PEOPLE! its about learning about vampires and occult. I think people need to start thinking about topic threads more carefully. Don't just post to post. There is enough RIP threads as is. Its starting to look like and over grown cemetery in back people.

i understand some topics should be based on logic, but then there should be a few just regular chating forums just to make friends, and have general disscussion getting them intrested in the logical knoldge VR has to offer.

I am not a person that posts a lot. You can see that under my name and the reason is that I find some of these not worth posting to.

Well quite honestly the couple of topics I have spent a good deal of time researching out were closed within the same day....
Vampirism in the real news for instance was closed quite quickly even though they were posting from the associated press....
So when seriousness isnt truely wanted and quickly discarded why bother?

I don't think it is the subject of some of the posts Da, but rather the quality of them, and that in turn dominoes into disinterest for some of the more eloquent writers amongst us.

many are far fetched.....many are pointless......but at the same time....who defines these things?

This is nothing new ...
I have been going father and farther back into the forums history and some of these far out threads are simply rehashing of previous far out threads...
Love sex and silliness runs as what seems to be the main themes.
Scars rooms
the daily flash movies
scaring mortals
etc......
So why the bother ?
Whats so different other than the faces?

I like things far-fetched and out there... it's more fun. I get bored with all these serious threads. But It was said before, if you dont like the thread, don't bother posting on it. Simple....

There have always been threads that have gone off-topic, although they had good intentions, and those that have been far fetched and leading to idiocy from the start. I think it lies in the responsibility of the user to answer to what they htink is worth answering to, and turning htings to the threads advantage by how they answer it.

We all enjoy a laugh, but sometimes htings can get quite far-fecthed, and sometimes that encourages others.

Emmy maybe your right it may not be the topic but the response. And yes some of them are funny but it's like beating a dead horse. Same thing over and over, people should search to see if it was brought up already and read those posts or just keep going further into the forum to see if they have been asked. Even this topic will be beat to death.
