I had a dream one night, it was a very powerful dream, vivid. And the words that came with it are here.
"As the Nephilim finds his place in the world,
He will fall in to an everlasting union with the seed of Lucifer,
For the Union to be whole,
The seed must confess his origins onto the Nephilim,
In the eyes of many, the union is an abomination,
But in the eyes of the creator, it is most true,
For the laws of the children of clay are different,
From the laws of the children of fire."
I have never had a dream like this before. Can I get some feedback. I don't know what have of this means.
That's really deep. It could mean so many things, but I don't know if I'd say it was a prophecy.
This looks familiar, but I can't recall where I've seen or read it...
Did you come across this while reading, and pondered on it before going to sleep? That could be one reason you recall the words so strongly in your dream...?
I have never read or seen anything even remotely close to this.. I wasn't necessarily calling it a prophecy. That's just what it sounds like.
To quote the Compte De Saint Germain..., "prophesy is not set in stone."
Contemplate on the dream for a while and see how many paths it takes you on.
Well, Nephilim is a biblical term found within the Torah and the Bible. It's a pre- King James version of terminology and there are two views regarding the identity of the Nephilim, which are identified as the sons of God.
1) Offspring of Seth — The Qumran (Dead Sea Scroll) contains the earliest known reference to the phrase "children of Seth", stating that God has condemned them for their rebellion. Other early references to the offspring of Seth rebelling from God and mingling with the daughters of Cain.
2) Offspring of angels — A number of early sources refer to the "sons of heaven" as "Angels". The earliest such references seem to be in the Greek, and Aramaic Enochic literature, and in certain manuscripts of Enoch, used by western scholars in modern editions of the Old Testament.
It would seem the fist of these two is the direction your dream was going.
"As the Nephilim finds his place in the world,
He will fall in to an everlasting union with the seed of Lucifer."
This appears to mean that when fallen angels become more common/excepted among men, they will enter a union with the anti-Christ.
"For the Union to be whole,
The seed must confess his origins onto the Nephilim."
The anti-Christ will have to reveal himself to man and demon alike.
"In the eyes of many, the union is an abomination,
But in the eyes of the creator, it is most true."
This is sort of self explanatory.
"For the laws of the children of clay are different,
From the laws of the children of fire."
I take this to mean that the way the followers of God see the end times are different then those who follow Lucifer.
I'm not sure what barring dreams have on prophecy and vice-versa but it could simply be your way of dreaming about a topic we all worry about at some point... but that is a question best answered by you.
That just my 2 cents, but I hope it was helpful.
I don't mean to put a dampener on things but that quote reminded me strongly of the T.V series 'Hex' which showed a few years back.
Did you ever watch that series? If so, your subconscious could be recalling it?
I was going to watch it on the internet a while back but didn't. I think it got cancelled. I'm so sorry about my previous post. For some reason it posted three times..
I largely agree with Severus' assessment, especially as regards the origins of the term, Nefilim (Nephilim). To date we still don't know for sure what the term means. The best we have been able to translate it, the word means "the Fallen Ones," a reference to distinguish them, apparently, from the rest of the "Bene Ha Elohim" (Sons of God) mentioned who did not descend to Earth and marry and raise families. And while, yes, there was an argument attempting to equal the "sons of Cain" with the "Nefilim," yet later scholarship has well refuted this possibility.
As for the dream and the text, itself, I personally don't see much fact or usefulness to it. Don't recall any book claiming Lucifier (I assume this means "Satan") sired children. And who are the "children of fire"? Never heard any reference to them in the Torah, Bible, etc., either. Thus, it seems rather nonsensical. Again... just my opinion, which is worth as much as you paid for it. ;)
Hey... it was a dream, after all. And dreams are rather famous for being nonsensical. Sometimes they have no deeper meaning than that.
I think that the children of clay' is mankind, while the 'children of fire' are the angels.
The rebellious angels thought it beneath them to bow down to Man as God had demanded, sice they saw mankind as inferior. Kind of like fire trumps clay (earth).
Well... there were a lot of things said by the Israelites about those they termed the "Fallen Ones" ("Fallen Angels")... all bad, of course. And all in error.
The historical fact is that the period of time in which these "Angels" appeared pre-dated the existence of the Hebrews/Israelites by literally thousands of years (they descended to Earth ca. 10-8,000 BCE while the Hebrew/Israelite nation was not established until at least 6,500 years later). Those the Hebrews chose to call the "Nefilim" ("Fallen Ones") were, in fact, the "Anunna" gods (erroneously called "Anunnaki" in modern times) by the Sumerians who lived in Mesopotamia where Abraham was much later born and raised. Thus, Abraham took with him to Canaan the history and culture and mythology of his Babylonian ancestors... including the ancient accounts, even in his time) of a small group of celestial visitors who descended from the skies, lived amongst Humankind and taught them pretty much all they knew.
These Anunna were venerated as gods, and their children as demigods, by the Sumerians to whom they originally appeared... because of their benevolent nature and what wonderful benefactors they were to Humankind. The ancient Egyptians were likewise visited by either this same group or a similar group of "angels" whom they called the "Shemsu Hor" (Sons or Family of Horus). Like their Sumerian counterparts, they likewise taught civilization to the ancient Egyptians and were equally revered.
These are exactly the accounts Genesis 6:1-4 references when speaking of the Nefilim children as "...mighty men as of old, men of renown."
The point being... when they were actually here and for thousands of years thereafter, they were regarded as heroes, as demigods, as wonderful benefactors. Only in a distant land almost a thousand miles away and thousands of years later were they written about in a negative light. And unfortunately, as the Bible/Torah has come to be just about the only ancient text to be commonly known and read in modern times, only this erroneous negative light has survived, as well.
The "Fallen Angels" were not fallen nor were they evil. They were, instead, victims of a deliberate campaign of demonization by a far-later culture who never even knew them.
dosnt the norse mythology refer to the frost gients being nefilhigm?could that be part of it or am i just making myself look stupid?
Hi Phangs,
Yes there are nefilhigm mentioned in both Norse mythology and the bible and both are referred to as giants which is interesting. The link could have been created when the Norse people were Christianized in the 10th century?
There's a good page on the net here:

sorry, i don't know how to create links yet
Hi Luciel, nice thread and subject. As I read your post,I realized it seemed very familiar and after thinking for a time,I remembered where .
There was something..a role playing game by the name of Children or child Of Clay, as well as the Children Of Fire, and it speaks of how the children of clay are special because they have free will etc.. and how the laws are different and all that.It also describes interactions of children of clay with angels.
Might you have read about them or played them before and perhaps dreampt about it?
Or even been asleep while someone in the room was playing the game?
cause really, the words are alomst per batum.
Sorry,we have a storm Im loosing internet on and off.
But yes, it talks about the very things in your dream and the words do sound prophetic,.and very close to yours.I will attempt to find that blog or whatever it was for you and maybe it will jog your memory ...
Even if not,its a great thread and I do like the subject .:D
Thanks everyone to the great replies. And to Oceanne, I've never heard of that game, and don't sleep anywhere near a tv or computer.. It would be great if you could find something about it and let me know. And it all could have been just a weird dream..
Hey,youre welcome.I will post it when I find it. Either way,you got some great replies and interpetations, and it was a really cool dream.
I was wondering ..was there anything else about it that you remember? Like landscape or anything?
Also, about prophetic dreams. They have a very distinct feel when they happen to me,and no other dreams produce that same "feel".Im wondering if yours might have had the same? A certain feel? Have you had prophetic dreams before?
Yes I have. The feelings during one is kind of hard to explain. It's like "Fire and Ice" feeling. Cooling but hot at the same time. I don't know how to explain it any further. In the dream I'm looking to the sky in the middle of the night, sitting and watching the stars. Then echoing voices say the words above, and crows feel the sky. Then it starts raining the black feathers of the crows. Other than the questions that come with the dream, it was very beautiful..
