I've been on here for some time now. And I really don't know exactly how many people are familiar with his work. His most popular being his cartoon Invader Zim and his comics on Jhonny the Homicidal Maniac, Devi and Squee. . . all related I might add. What have you been introduced with and what do you like the best? Me, I couldn't really choose, they all rock to me. . .
I like Johhny the best, the magazines are graphic but it represents that beast inside everyone, that he just cannot control but we all keep in tight rein
he is a freaking genious i cant spell soz but yea zim and jonny are great
I love Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, and Zim, Grr is my favorite and Johnny and Squee,...hell their all my favorite, Jhonen is an awesome artist
johnny's my favorite....brilliant.
I like his other work too...but none of the others ever inspired me to take scenes and make posters out of them
I would like to say who I like most, but I could hurt myself in the process. I agree that he is a genius though. Happy Noodle boy, Zim, Johnny, Gaz, Gir, It would all be so hard to choose. It is nice to see there is a steady amount of fans too. Those are the works I am familiar with. . . anyone know any others? I belive there are more, I just haven't looked into them.
did you get your box of monkeys?
everybody loves monkeys
I love Johnny the best too. The reason why is because I believe Johnny represents the inner conflict in every one of us.
I think most people on here has seen Invader Zim or has heard of it.
Johnny is definately the best.
I am sorry to say that I have never heard of any of this.
pretty good artist, one of my favorite few. check him out. most of his work is hilarious. i love the definition of his characters. they tell so much with each different angles etc...
ohh I love his work, mmhh all of it.
To make room for the cup cakes!
Jhonen Vasquez is my all time favorite artist. He has a wonder view point on many things. Invader Zim is what I love the most though.
hmmm. first off i've read all his stuff, including all the shorts like "the filler bunny stories"(not the ones in jthm, and squee...there's more) etc. as for the big three. "i feel sick/jthm/squee."
i'd say jthm has the best story as well as character development, and the most "satire" as well as social comentary...therefore giving it more substance.
squee-deffinitly the funniest of the bunch...if you want to laugh....read squee
i feel sick-actually has a very good story line, and is well written(only thing i didnt like was it seemed like a differnet spin on nny's inner psycho. but hey, i still love jhonen. and his work never ceases to amaze me...
oh ya, almost forgot...zim is also a very good series, new story, characters etc....but still same old jhonen....watch for the cameo's if you know what i mean.

Sorry heather, but i like JTHM the best. invader zim is good, but Johnny must rule the world.
damn thats a hard choice.... i love JTHM, but i love Gir too.... hmm... i must contemplate this...
It is a very hard choice, but Invader Zim rocks Mel. Anyway, Filler bunny also kicks ass. He is in a short scene in Dark Harvest in Invader Zim. He uses some characters more than once, the fun part is to look for them.
Yes fillerbunny is good. though if your getting into the mini characters i would say happy noodle boy is very good as well...
Eee! Jhonen Vazquez is a god, I tell you! Heh. ^_^ I love the Johnny the Homicidal Maniac comics. I got the Director's Cut not too long ago and I'm addicted to it. And Happy Noodle Boy is my hero. *stupid grin*
Anyone here watch Invader Zim at all. The Jhonny fans?
Truth be known I only know of Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, but have not read any of it. Judging from some of the stated opinions I may need to look up some of Vasquez's work to see it for myself.
i have to say johnny is my fav of his. but the strange thing is, i get all of my ink work done by the same guy that he goes to. http://www.luckystarstattoo.com/
I love Invader Zim as well...I just got the second DVD set. Woot. ^_^ Now I just need the third... *twitch* ...I must have my Zim...And Gir!
