I have asked our prince if this was ok to put here and he said he didn't mind...
I have recently rediscovered my love of photography and wish to have subjects to explore my hobby again.I have done nature pictures but am having a interest in trying my hand at gothic as well as black and white.I would appreciate some feedback from other photographers and anyone in my area.It will be free,i just like taking picstures
I am interested in photography as well. I asked around to different students taking photography on a college level and one person's advice to me was to find one type of pictures you are good at taking and stick with that. Some are good at nature scenes and landscapes, and others are better at portraits. I have taken loads of pictures over the last two years and my best one lean toward buildings and architecture.
i love the art too. but i must admit that i am untrained. but i've learned that when the moment is there to take it.
ive thought about starting photography back up again i do miss it alot. i would love to see the pics you took/take
i too hope you share your pics with us...
and i know your pics will turn out great
I have always been good at nature scenes. But a good idea is to check with your local colleges for this.
A renewed interest in photography today can take you down many avenues. Are we talking digital or film? Will you be using photo software or just the camera? You mentioned that you did shots before. How about a complete project? Future book deal. ( 'Gothic- through the eyes of the lens.") ?
I don't believe you will have many problems with people sitting for you. And there are many great places for natural backgrounds.
Sounds like you have alot of creative time ahead of you.
It's amazing to see how far photography has come... the prob like writing is that you need to find the right market for them.....
I am willing to critique but me warn i can be harsh. :) i like pushing people to either insanity or the next level of thier own genius
Photography can take you down many avenues of life. Just find one that fits you and is a part of you. Photograph things you enjoy whether it is nature, animals, etc.. and just enjoy it. Don't give up on it if it starts out rocky, just keep trying until you accomplish whatever it is you are looking for.

here is my camera. I have been told also that being a good photographer you need the right equipment for the type of photos you wish to take.
It is a minolta maxxum 5 and I can take 3 pics per second and it has dozens more features that I love. It has sensors for auto zoom, built in flash of course, but I have an attachment flash for farther range, I also have a zoom lens that weighs as much as the camera itself. I love this camera. It is a SLR film camera. I am not yet ready for digital. I want to first learn how to develop my own film and experiment with black and white also.
Photography is as fun as u make it.
You can create loads of different effects and is always interestin to see some of the outcomes.
You're free to message me and ask anything you want to know
I'll be glad to help :)
Love photography
Working in a dark room is my favorite part! I need a better camera though...
I love photography. Espically black and white. I love pin up models.I I just love the way they are slightly naughty but can be so innocent. Some of then are so sensual and beautiful.
I guess it can depends on the photographers mood too. SO many things are just waiting to be captured.
So true. I believe that many photographers can take a picture of the same thing and they would all be different in their own way. That, to me is one of the things that makes it art.
I find myself at all different times looking at things from a camera point of view and deep in thought about how cool it would be to catch that on film.
I've always loved photography!! I'm not alone! yay!.... Just thought I'd let you know, lol. ^_^
hmm well i photograph based on impulse. its kind of how cancer described it in his portfolio. I just have a moment where i must photograph things and others where you can't even get me close to a camera. the same goes with manythings i do i like have seasons for each.
I have a cannon eos rebel with detachable lenses.I love it,i just took some pics of my little cousin and dispite them being just for fun i think there are a few i like.I'll post one or two in my porfolio of her soon. Thanks for everyone's input and for anyone who lives near me and is interested in being a subject for me let me know
I would love to be a subject for you, but the camera is not generally good to me and I don't live all that close to you. The rebel is a good camera. I have seen great reviews on it.
Has anyone got any reccommendations for a how to book on film developing and taking better pictures? I would love to go back to college and take a course in photography, but we just cannot afford it right now.
