The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

As of late it seems a lot of the houses, which are aligned with the Sabertooth, are having a lot of internal problems, which, were always there, yet as of late, seem to be spilling out.

Frankly, to tell the truth, these houses need to be broken down and casted off, there shouldn't be houses, yes its nice to have a community of people who think like you, yet the whole thing about the strigoi teachings is that, we are to experience life, to live the condition, connect with the Dragon, and become more enlighten about what we are.

Now, tell me this, if you end up thinking the same about a way that the vampyre community should run, wouldn't that limit yourself?

Me personally, I'm glad I'm a Ronin in the teachings, there is no need for a house when you have a community who talks about their experiences and are willing to give advise about things that arise of the Condition. Sorry, but, no need to rule a group of people who are to explore themselves without chains.

I think that i get what you are saying. If we are only taught to think one way then we kind of really wont be thinking for ourselves. If thats what you mean then I agree. Sorry once more cause I dont totally get what you are trying to say.

I understand what you are saying, honestly, but there has to be a basis for your learning, without direction or a foudation, we all would be separated and is not our lineage saying that there is strength in unity?

one more thing, I think you are fogetting your history as well. Do you not realize that that is what is rumored how the witches were caught and burned? they all wanted to be different, no unity. Where there is more than one, there will always be differences, however, we did try our singleness may centuries ago and yes they found each of us as well. Do you not have the old ways in your house?

The thing with the Strigoi Vii is that it is subject to personal belief... you may think some bits are more important than others, and you may focus yourself accordingly, or you may not believe some aspects and make your own school of thought on the information that you have been given...afterall, thats what pesonal opinion is all about.

Conforming to an 'official' way of conducting a form of self-discovery within the Illusion is taking away the idea itself, finding your own path to whatever you think a source of enlightenment is, or you may not even call it that.

If you have to conform to one way, then you will never find your way, and thats what can lead to problems, although it is good to find a group of people who share the same ideas.. this can be in itself a help to finding what you wish to find, and its comforting to have others (especially those of more knowledge of teachings than yourself) to be able to guide you.

Any structure you chose has problems but, no matter what way it turns out, your spirit is still yours, and doesn't belong to any group, house, or person... soemtimes I think that it may not even belong to you.

To learn is to be free. To some it might be awesome to be part of a clan or house. For me I rather learn from all the clans or houses out there. That way my thinking is for myself and me judging others will be free of mind. I live the path of the lonely one and make friends along the way !!

Number one:

If no one knows who you are and what you are, you cannot be ratted out should the Inquisition or it's big brother make a comeback.

Number two:

I have this little issue with authority. I think it should go take a flying f*ck at a rolling doughnut. My own authority is the only one to which I care to submit.

Number three:

I also have issues with little societal (or sub-culture) groups that insist upon certain things for recognition or belonging. They may also go molest a pastry.

Number four:

*IF*, and I do mean if, there is a person or a few people with whom I care to share the real me, as opposed to the one who appears to fall somewhat near society's mores, then, I call that person "friend," and that's enough. I neither need nor desire some sort of glittery mumbo jumbo sanctioning my existence.
