What ever drove you to become a goth/punk/vampire?

um.... living on the streets of s.f. at age 15 will do it to ya.

Who ever said I was? I am an individual..... I do not belong to any sub group. That being said, I think the dark and "gothic" look is beautiful, and I always have.. I was the little kid that liked halloween WAY more then Christmas LOL

I myself am an individual. I agree with what she said. I am my own. I am how I am because mostly I was born with it. Or I just happen to like it. As for some of my actions, it's because I was born with it. I do nothing to make myself seem cool infront of others. Either you like me for me or you don't. Either way I don't care.. If you like me, great. If not then **shrugs** I don't have time for you..

I'm glad that people can admit that they are the way they are and they aren't willing to change...

Well it's not a choice you make, it's who you are. A lot of people are afraid to show the world their true identity because they want to be accepted by the masses which is very sad. Who needs the aproval of ignorant people?

well, interesting turn-I am the way I am because I have always been this way. I have lived 2 past lives, and had the same basic attitude and likes. Black and red have always appealed to me-I wear alot of both. I was also the child that was more excited by Halloween, and still am. I decorate my yard every year, and dress up to take my kids trick or treating. I have always been a little on the darker side. lol

Oh, and on the subject-I would love to be a bat, roaming the sky freely at nite.

There's no reason.I don't like to label myself but:I always liked halloween,horror movies,then when I was a teenager I started to listen to gothic music and dressed gothic,...well if that makes me a 'goth' like everyone labells me, then I'm a goth and I like it, no matter how much I'm hated by the people in my place.

What drove me to be a goth: I hated people at my school. I thought the whole aspect and perspectives of goths were cool. I liked the way they hid themselves. So, I dyed my hair black, wore black clothes, hid my happy feelings, and even painted my bedroom black. And that was when people started calling me 'goth.' I had no problem with it. :)

I am the way I am cause thats how I am. I took interests in dark, morbid, Vampyres, Death, etc...When I was a very young child. I was born this way.
