Does anyone on this site, male or female, think that women should not be able to work?

How nice.. but no, I am looking for a debate, and a lively one it will be.. Please, I wish to only hear from those who think women should not work.

Yes well, a few guys said it on another site, so naturally there is a nice mess of females throwing insults at the males and so on.. With the females not keeping their cool and the males not keeping their wit.. It is a disgusting site to see and just makes me hate humans even more..

Did I really give that impression? I want to hear both sides most definately. I already know the majority thinks it is excellent that women work and that it is only natural.. As do I.

I simply want to know if there are any people on this site that think women shouldn't work and that they should stay home and clean the house.. and then I would want to know why..

you probably just mistyped it....
actually my views are that staying home IS a job in itself....I know women who are stay home wifes...and keeping a house spotless and clean...cooking the dinner....doing all the laundry...this is a job....it's called being a maid..thats what a houswife actually should be termed as....I respect women who do work....
but if a woman is a stay at home and does not keep the house clean... the dishes done...etc etc.....then in my opinion she is just lazy...as doing these things is the job a stay home wife either has chosen...or has chosen for themself...
but most of the ppl on this site would be I hope intelligent enough not to make the type of comments that offended you so deeply....of course...humans never fail to disappoint me also....

Yes well, I am not as much offended as I am ... dissapointed? Hmm.. I was surprised. I work a job at 16yrs of age. Work at a paint store as well as I am a painter/carpenter. I work alongside male contractors. I know much about business now and the owner of the store has offered me the job of manager once I have worked there for another 3 years. So.. me, naturally enjoying working up a sweat for my money (since I cannot work up a sweat working on a farm like in the real old days) wondered where the heck this guy got that idea. I don't want marriage, I don't want kids. I am probably manlier than he is... I just wondered... if others felt this way, as other guys spoke up too, agreeing with him.

in the world of the goth/industrial dj, there are only a few women and even fewer that aren't just eye candy.
at first, i was told a lot of times that i was just there for visuals and not for my skills.
that doesn't happen anymore. ;)

sometimes it's just a matter of a woman moving in on what always was male activities, no matter what they are, and a few not willing to change with the times.

Well, *grins* .. I am not sure if you have seen me in action on some of these threads or read my profile, but, I am not want to sympathize, nor fool around. Meh, I am a bitch. ANYWAYS, so, naturally, I took to the job very well. I didn't wear provacative clothing, so I was never told I am eye candy.. I didn't take any shit from anyone and treated the boss as an equal (I treat everyone at the same level or lower as me, that is why I got in trouble at school all the time and have been suspended from this site a few times, with no remorse.. *smirks* .. it was fun) ANYHOO, yes.. yes.. I am going in for the kill, becoming manager of a successful store as a not so attractive woman. Not easy..

most of the times girls are smarter than boys, but boys have tools to make girls a little stupid....

tools gothic...please..enlighten us on these "tools" we have to make girls stupid....all I know is I did contracting work for a few years...and the best most hard woking boss I ever had is a 95 pound 5 ft tall tiny girl who can out work any 4 guys I have ever worked with.....I helped her roof her house..and she made her husband and I both look like wimps...and we are both experienced contractors....and by the way lust...you are not unattractive....just too young for some of us to mention it...hehhe ;)

Women should have babies, and have babies very young (from sixteen). I also think that grandmothers are important and need to nurture the babies as much as the mothers. So in my ideal society, women would be breeding young, and as they get old and infertile, should share the duties of mothering. I like the way, this is done in America, with mothers and grandmothers sometimes even sharing the same apartment.

Men can then produce the food. And grandfathers? well grandfathers are quiet useless, and generally grumpy, and should be put to sleep.

*grins* .. Yes.. well I hide it for obvious reasons.. Funny, I am the same size as the women you mentioned.. the exact size, though I am 91 pounds but it depends on the season... I outwork my boss everyday. He sits on his ass and I run past him carrying four full cans of paint to an awaiting shelf.. *smiles* I love working.

I agree with Bloodthirst, women are better at business (men are risk takers, and not so good at planning). That doesn't mean that women should work, because if you work, the care of your child is given to a stranger. And no child creche, no teacher, no bureaucrat, no charity will look after your child with the same care (to think otherwise you'd be fucked in the head). If you consider your primary purpose is the care and nurturing of children, then any other secondary purpose (such as working) has to be secondary.

The only body who will look after your child as well as you is your menopausal grandmother.

The title simply bothered more than anything else.. secondly.. this is not a political site....
