how many of you people think you are real vampires???????
and whats up with this psi vampire stuff.... if you are to energetic and way overactive of course your going to drain people of energy... duh.... they probably arent used to being around someone that needs to be on a depressant....

Umm yeah. I believe you are what you want. Me I do nibble here and their, but I do not drain people of their blood. So depending on what you mean by the term "vampire", I beleive i am one. i hate sunlight, but it wont kill me, i love to bite and be bitten, I love the taste of blood. I wear dark clothes.

As far as the psychic vampire, yes I do beleive they are out their. i have a few friends claiming to have this power, and sometimes after just talking to them i feel drained, without having to move.

But hey that is just my own opinion, do with it what you like..

ok aleks and carkiller....I often wonder just why you two joined a vampire site if as it so readily seems you are against the topic.....there is nowhere that says psy vamps need be hyper.or annoying in any way.....I myself am a rather quiet and sedate person in RL....it is simply drawing energy from my surroundings... and yes...anyone can do it...the point is a vampire is one who is parasitic of another....that is the definition I look to anyways...

I would say the majority here are not claiming to be 1000 year old hollywood-esque vamps....which seems to be what you are focused on.....

it is spelled metamorphasis, by the way. and its how i choose to go to sleep every day, and wake up to at night, so i can go to work, got a problem with it then just come out and say it then

a responce to celestial. have you ever thought that maybe you could perhaps be dhampir? if the sun doesnt kill you, then its a possibility.

classically the sun does not kill a vampire
it strips them of their power weakening them....so they hold a preference to night
this is in the classical legends...
the bursting into fire concept is fairly new and mostly a theatrical interpretation

..that is an interesting point about the sun...I have learned that there are such overwhelming energies from the sun, that it is easier for a vampyre to feed at night because of the shadow cast by the earth and that the sunlight might well be an overload on the vampyre system...

Blood or psy vampires are being ridiculed
only because of some kiddos who claim to be vampires without even knowing the truth about it.They just believe in the hollywood vamps and wear fangs and black clothes to impress.

I believe psy and blood vampires exist but I wouldn't believe a 13 yr old who says: oh look at me am a vampire,and I am 2000 yrs old, oh god am so cool.I myself would laugh at it.

Just an addition for the sun thing: I have lack of energy when I'm in the sun and have a lot of headhaces and am attracted to the gothic scene but I would never think am a vampire.

And yes anyone can learn to drain energy.

Anyone has a lack of energy when sitting in the hot sunlight :| Some faint , some die . They're not all vampires and that doesn't make you one :)

well... iv always liked vampires and in my heart i beleive i am and ever since i tasted blood for the first time it just drove me deeper in to vampirism and now i crave blood all the time..so i guess you could say i oped the door wider and steped out from that..is that the type of answer ur looking for...cuz i tend to ramble on sometimes and not realize what i was talking about to begin with...lol

I was just clarifying the whole sunlight kills vamps myth
personally I have no problem in sunlight....
but since you are so adamant that none of us are vamps....the onus then falls to you to prove otherwise.....and simply saying we aren't what we claim holds no more worth than someone claiming they are a vamp....it is all just perception and opinion...
and again comes to the question...if you have an issue with people making the claim...why come to a vampire related database site?

For my little experiences with the sun, I have had sun poisoning and sun stroke from minimal sun exposure. My body doesn't absorb it easily, hense violently ill to nearly hospitalization. Yes it sucks. Excuse the pun. What I am, I'll keep to myself here.
