hey i got to thinking of an idea many other sites have this feature and i think it is a neccesity to be honest .in our comment fields or subcomments we need a delete button .the comments ppl leave regularly cause alot of space to get used alot every day and to keep site running smoothly and keep it from using tons of bandwidth and also correct some kind of tech issues with stuff in ppls signatures they leave i think a delete button would be a really good feature to have with our comments :)just my two cents though. does anyone else agree a delete button in the comments on our profiles would be a good and neccessary feature?

If you block a user it will block any comments that user has left for you (profiles or portfolios).

Other sites that delete comments for space/speed issues are using a very poor form of database management. They're not fixing their DB access issues, they're reducing server load.

VR is at its highest point, and it is also running faster than it has ever run. This is due to database optimization. I will continue to work on the database to increase efficiency as our population grows. I will not just delete stuff to reduce load. That's a Band-Aid fix.

Ill make a suggestion for cancer as well.

You know how you only have an inbox folder in the message center? Could you make it to be something like a real email. With inbox, outbox, Sent and Trash folders. Also leave a maximum number of messages you can keep on each folder. As the number of messages increase when you go over it your old messages delete. On your saved folder you could leave some more space or something like that. I think that might be a good idea. :)

well cancer i blocked the girl but when i go into my comment area the midi url she left in her signature still plays .not sure why you dont hear it but me and my bf hear it and it drives me nuts ,it stopped her midi from interfering when you are on my profile but when you have to go back to check comments and stuff her midi plays i now totally hate cof nymphetamine because of that gals midi url in her comment to me lol

hey I think it would be wonderful... because you can't control who leaves a comment on your profile or portfoilio until they have already left one.... and if they leave a friggen long comment with a large piture... their is alot of space being taken up... no matter if you block them or not the point is that the space is already being taken up...

Deleting comments is contrary to how the system is set up. Next you'll want to be able to delete ratings too (people have already requested this).

Negative comments are allowed. I'm not going to make everything sugar-coated. There's a block mechanism in place that members can use if they really feel the need to.

cancer is doing a wonderful job with this site and concidering this isnt really a pay site those of us who arent premium members have no room to bitch or anything its free. Cancer my suggestion to you is to take a break take a load off and sit back and enjoy urself.
