Can any one tell me exactly what 'The eye of the gypsy" is? I have recetly heard the term and I am not sure what it exactly means.

Could be the Evil Eye, often attributed to Gypsy types or the unknown.

hmmm i am thinking it is thee old gypsy curse when you do one of them wrong or disrespect them in one way..i have heard that the curse is passed on to generations untill it is apeased on some way.

could it be the sight? that is a gypsie term which refers to the ability to see the future, or to see the dead.

it has to do with the evil eye..it is used if disrespected....or done wrong to....

has anyone ever seen the movie "thinner" i think the evil eye is best depicted in that movie even though the movie is based on fiction.

An evil eye is what the term refers to in Spain. There are various interpretations throughout Europe.

i thought it refered to the evil eye a hex gypsies put on people

i think its the evil eye that watches over a particular clan and if wrong is done to them then that person is cursed by the evil eye until appeased.

the evil that is for sure, it si just a way to calling it, the kind in the circle fo the gypsy themselves use to say, its a way of speaking, to talk about the evil eye
