i have just become very curios and been wondering when and how you actuly became a vampirew did you just wake upm one day and wanted to be a vampire or did you get biten by some dark stranger one night and became a vampire the tradational way. would love to hear how and when leave a emssage here if you can

Ok, ok... just kidding. I think everyone to some extent is in love with the romanticism of the Vampire. Anne Rice and B.S.'s Dracula (books AND films) had an awful lot to do with it.
I actually got into this conversation with someone I met at a bar one night... hehehe, makes me giggle. I bet he walked away thinking I was in fact a Vampire.
Most people want to be a Vampire because of the affore stated reason. The romance to it... everlasting life..yadda yadda... *rolls eyes*

Few people remember what goes with living forever.
You watch everyone... and everything you love... DIE.
By the time you yourself are strong enough to turn one of your own brood... the initial people you'd have gladly taken with you (and Im indeed quite sure would have gone willingly) have already perrished within the ebbing flow of the sand of time...

I just one day noticed that people around me tended to get tired whenever I was in a bad mood....did some research....and learned to turn the shit off.....heheh nuff said.....btw i'm a psy...not a fluid drinker.

this is a hard one for me, because i'm still growing and learning, but i've always been a biter, pretty much as soon as i was out in the world, i would bite people, didnt matter what mood i was in...

As i started getting older, i'd look at people, and just have this instinct to bite :S

grew a little older, started reading adult fiction, and stuff i had to hide from my mum, became very interested in the darker things in life...

So i started researching, all sorts of alternative lifestyles (i was about 11 at this time) read about real vampires, witches, wiccan magick, all that sought of stuff, and was really interested.... then i hit puberty at my early age.... things started getting interesting lol

I began craving blood, and loved being around people who seemed to have endless sources of energy.... did some more research....

Learnt to channel energy, and magick and stuff, and i guess it wasn't until i met my now ex b/f that i realised what my lifestyle was.... he enlightened me to the full extent of vampirism and I loved it.... I was 16 then so.... anyways enough of my life story lmao

7th grade
i had a deep wound and used my mouth to try and stop the flow of blood
well i got a taste and well you can guess the rest

my story quite like dearmons i kept noticing peaple feeling weak or (drained)
around me

I don't think of myself as a "classic" vampire (needing blood to survive, can't go out in daylight...). I DO concider myself an "elemental" vampire, feeding from (being energized by) natural phenomena like storms, strong winds, the ocean, fire, etc. I've been that way ever since childhood, but didn't have a name for it until recently, when a vampire group I belong to had a list of different kinds of vampires, including "elemental". It seemed to fit.

...i'm not a vampire. but i wanna be one when i grow up. ;)

kool to hear how all of you turned into vampires sorry i havent posted anythign in a while in my own discusion been off for a lil while. i gues its my turn to tell how i turned then. im a gothic boy so i love all things dark and not accepted by the society i live around. but how i turned into a vampire is rather a romantic tale for me as i had just come out of a realy shitty realationship with the bitch i think i talk about in my profile (not sure if i have taken it off yet). wheni was draged down to a shopping center by a couple of my grunger mates to buy cds and meet a beatiful but not gothic at the time girl who i started talking to and after a while off talking she asked me if she could bite me which i thought as of wierd a lil at the time but hell to it i did it. she grabed my arm and sunk her teeth into it. and drunk some of my blood. and after thaqt i have been some how mmmmmm how to put this draged towards anything vampiric i watch tones of movies read a load of books and look at wierd vampiric stuff on the net which i find very exciting. as time passed i got deeper and deeper into vampire culture. meet up with the girl who turned me and i knew i was in love with her and have been dating her ever since and we still bite eachother as a kinda mark of love or something. well thats what i think of them

I have been this way since i can remember. I had natural fangs as a babe and they were really sharp. I loved to bite, destroy the house, and drink my own blood. My father would beat me and my mother, calling me a demon.

It wasn't till I was about 10 that I had my first real drink. I mean I would drink the blood from my wounds and constantly pick at them to make myself bleed which I still do when I am thirsty and no one is around. Well, my sister had an "accident" and she split her chin revealing the muscles fully and her blood was gushing out onto her chest and floor and I began to drink from her.

My other sister he became frightened ran, got my mother who pulled me off of my sister smacked me and called the hospital. My sister almost died because of me. ::giggles and licks her lips::

After that my parents took me to the dentist and had my incisors filed down and promised to get me taken care of. ::cries::

If vampires can not live forever but an immensely long time it is true. My great great grandmother is over 107and my great grandfather is 90 something. Longevity runs in my family as well as youthful beauty. My mother for instance is 40 years old but she looks my age, which is very young.

To this day I have fed off of people and drained a few people's energy. I prefer the taste of blood but either one will do.You just know when you are. You can neither escape or deny it.

I hate labels.

I've been this way for as long as I can recall. My friends grew up with me, knew (who) or the (kind) they should play with and left me alone to find my (own) way. Funny thing though, I've never really (fit) into any "label" and I'm nearly 32 years old.......yeah it's Sunday! So when kids ask me who's team am I on, and from there on in, my answer is the same..."My own."

The "word", "sensation", "psychic ability", "thought process" , "knowledge", "curiosity", "attraction to all things dark" (Vampyre) has simply always been in my mind no matter what you may term it.

The idea to live long enough to find true love in this dark place.

As a child i wwas always drawn to vampirism. That combined with a thirst for blood & hating sunlight. kinda made sense really!

beeing a vampire...it's not the fangs...it's about absorbing energy...not just from blood but from people's feelings and PSI energy...and sex too

I'm still in my awakening, but I will become one very soon. I've started the whole vampire thing, because of the immortal live and the feelings around of this 'lifestyle'. I like the night with its full moon and than I am just wondering what the other vampires think. The most attractive part of being a vampire is the 'gentle' part I guess. I like being gentle and it feels really special. So that's why I am becoming one.
