accordintg to the records the last public hanging was here, but they could bie wrong i am just saying wat they said. apparently there were loads mor hangings just not public for anyone to watch. but i could be wrong.

Palmer's was not the last public hanging in England. That awful distinction goes to Michael Barrett hanged outside Newgate Prison, London on 26th May 1868 for his part in the Fenian bomb outrage on December 13, 1867,

i think there was more that happened after this, but they where in prisons and such.. not public viewing ones

26th May 1868. Last fully public hanging in England. Michael Barrett at Newgate for the Fenian bombing at Clerkenwell which killed seven people.
29th May 1868. Parliament passes the Capital Punishment within Prisons Bill ending public hanging.
13th August 1868. First private hanging : Thomas Wells executed at Maidstone for murder

when we had the house clensed befor the guy tha did it is a spititul healer and he could not get rid of all of them so i guess i wont be able to!

hmm, well..we had 3 public hangings here somethng like around 1930 (for murder and treason..something like that).. I'm going from memory from a school art (go figure) field trip about 10 years ago.. the corpses were berried in the floor of fortress island guarding one of our harbors had 4 hidden popup guns that were ment to take 3 seconds... anyways, after the war it was used as a kind of prison.. and so the 3 guys would never find pice they were buried in the narrow main corridor so they'd be constantly walked over, and spat on ect..
