I have resently meet several individuals whom clam to be werekin.

What is your opinion on werekins and do they really exist?

Isn't a "werekin" someone who has a great affinity for any type of animal?

WEREKIN
Werekin are also human in every way shape or form. By looks Kine and werekin are indistinguishable. Werekin however are thought to somehow developed a link with Were creatures and and thought to have a better chance of possessing the "Were" gene than any other race. They also possess the ability to detect Lycanthropes or Were creatures. Like other humans they are well suited for any class.

well I have hurd vampires calling themselves werekin. But yes a werekin is someone ehom associates themselves with an animal and in one way shape or form can shift in mind or thought into there totum animal .... well at least thats what i have goten from what i have read..

Were, Werewolf, beings linked to the wolf totem or spirit. In studies, people that are spiritually linked with the wolf think they can "turn into a werewolf" when in reality they aren't changing at all. I think this, from my personal opinion, that it's mostly a spiritual thing. It's when the spirit and reality sort of get mixed and that is why they "think" they are changing. I've met those that claim they share the soul of the dragon, and so forth. The spirit is capable of "possesion" for a time to commune with us on this plane so i can see why people may get confused at times.
