The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

so, i am reading this book wright now,
Anno Dracula by Kim Newman. I just wanted to know what do you all think about it, have you read it?
For the start the idea of persuing a vampire killer is fascinating...can`t find that every day!

never heard of it but sounds like a good book.

It all happens in London, about 1888, The Queen Victoria married count Vlad Dracula, and vamires are taking over the police and gouverment, everything. There is a vampire killer on the streets...
There are some big names mentioned...
I wont tell you more, you`ll read it yourself, don`t wanna spoil the fun!
No one heard for it? It was published 1992 for the first time i think...

i'll have to put that on the list of books i need to read. damn that list is long too.lol

Pretty good but I fear that I am going to miss it when its over so only reading about fifty pages a day of this book...

come on fantastic book..

As Nina Auerbach writes in the New York Times,

Had a search for this on almighty Google, and it has quite a good write-up. The plot sounds interesting, although Victoria married the love of her life, Albert, in 1863 :-)

Funny thing happend to me with that book: I worked in a book store for some time and two books by Newman (Anno Dracula and The Bloody Red Baron) stood on the shells for about 8 months, while I was reading all the Barkers, Lovecrafts, and Kings I could find, when I finally started with reading A.D. man came and bought them both, after I red only three pages of it! :) Ofcourse, my boss never brought in the shop another two copies or anything else written by K. Newman, again...

i am not glad about this, buut i havent read the book yet.I had no time the last few days, so I can`t tell you my oppinion about the book,tough i loved every line i read till now. I`ll tell yoo as soon as I read it.
