anyone have any thoughts on evp i saw that movei white noise (awsome by the way) and went online to check it out and though id ask anyone if they had any thoughts on the subject so do you?

i have some personal E.V.P. recordings i have been doing them for years long befor the movie white noise came out and that movie has some fact to it but a lot of fiction

I've heard about EVP.Didn't try it yet am a bit scared lol.But am very curious since I like very much these things:)

its kooland scary to listan to. but you have to strain your ears to pick up the sound

Haven't seen the movie yet. But have heard it a few times myself. I actually thought I was imagining things or it was a voice in my head. Just don't know.

the best places to get E.V.P.s are in a grave yard an old one like the ones with huge crypts or even old aboanded buildings its creepy and best of all you need a camera or camcorder to capture what it is that makes the noises sometimes you get orbs sometimes you get cold chills and sometimes nothing but a bunch of noise but you do have to listen really closely but sometimes its clear those ones are the creepest

I have seen the movies. I have heard some of EVP's from haunted places. I have never dabbled with it myself, yet. I am hope to get A mic for my camcorder so I can pic up more more things. I have seen orb's. I have heard things without them being on mic. Course those were rather loud. I am sure if I had equipment to pic up softer sounds I would have heard alot more. I would like to start doing EVP's.

I've heard some EVP's on television, and tried to make one myself when I was younger, but to no avail. However, this thread has given me the idea to have another go, especially considering how Im moving into a new house in the Autumn.

i once did one in my front room at home... i think my kitchen is haunted, nobody believed me, echo does though :D

my point being... one night i thought i'd try to record silence. i set the downstairs hifi and stuck a tape in.

a couple of minutes in a got a low sort of "hmmm" and then nothing.

and I thought they were just voices in my head......

I'm not messing with anything like that anymore. These things are not meant to be seen with the naked eye for a reason, why look into it?

I didnt start looking for it they came to me at first it thought i was insane saw 3 doctors they could find nothing wrong with me so i decieded to record what i was hearing i was 16 at the time and when i played back the tape i screamed for my foster mom to hear it and she did we moved and i was told never to listen again she sent me to the mental ward till i said id never do it again
and i kept my promas while i still heard them with out recording when i left i joind a ghost hunters group all though i am not with the group any more i still hear them i dont record any more because to many people got scared i lost a lot of friends....

white noise it the static that comes on your t.v. when it gose off chanel and some belave that you can hear the dead threw that if you use a tape recorder or in this digital age a digital corder it is belaved that you can hear them its called electronic E.V.Ps and some all so belave it is heard threw stereos as well when they go off station wether or its possible to actually hear them speaking because of other chanel bleed threw is up to the person listening.Intresting enough though you can hear all most the same thing when you run skip thats the term used when running a C.B or H.A.M. raido those freqs are bounced off the sun and travel for years and every 11 years it comes back and you can hear lots of people talking from the past scientist use this skip to listen to stars and planets

I saw Ghost Watchers. It is a B-movie but it has evp in it. You should check into it.

My aunt is a paranormal investiager and she has a ton of EVP things. Some of them are not so nice either. We also have pictures and video footage of orbs and apperitions. It's really awesome. I go with her it's great. And it's real...

haven't seen the movie but I've been researching on that for years. I never got lucky to get any good ones myself.

I saw the movie, but thought enh, I had different expectations for the movie. Also because I hadn't seen Michael Keaton in a movie for a while.

I already knew a lot about EVP and that was why I was expecting more to come from that movie. Or at least not to do in that direction. Echo's of the past happening before people pass on.

The movie white noise has some truth and some not quite true facts to it on EVP. I have some friends that are very..... thorough in working with EVP.

is it akin to getting crossed lines on a phone, or interferance on your radio?

I have heard 300-400bpm gabber music tracks which use ultra high freq and such, but is that the same thing?
