As many of you in my country will know solstice is approaching fast and as this is a time of high spiritual activity but also the longest hours of sunlight which may not be good for some do any of you have plans other than sunblock and shades?

i dont have any plans other than to stay inside

I just don't really go outside much.... =)

Stay in side and have a hole lot of sex with my gril ravven

I have 4 babies to take care of... I'll be slightly busy... lol

Um stay inside and play videogames, smoke some weed...

well have fun.... i sleep during the day most of the time and wake up in time to go to work at night...

not really, although I must admit that the day usually gives me a lot of energy, although I get sunburn very easily, so I dont tend to spend long in really hot weather... but in England you dont really get any :-) so I suppose I will be fine.

Hmm guess I will be drinking and writing till the night time that way its alot cooler.

well, i'm actually headed to the beach for solstice with a few other members of my coven and a numer of other local mantics.. and then, once the sun goes down, the real fun starts

summer solstice is right near my birthday, so I'll be out celebrating.. hopefully happily satisified. *winks*

I need a lot of research for the summer solstice at Stonehenge for Acrimony last year. The rituals there have always impressed me.. is anyone going there this year?

Oh yeah this solstice a small group is coming with me to have a last as the sun sets and also be on the lookout for the Faye.

They celebrate this time of yr, many of rings and semi rings, i have pics of a semi-ring across the parkinglot of a place i stayed only briefly.

I was wondering about the songs i kept hearing and i had my faveorite toe ring stolen off my 2nd toe on the right foot,(sniff, sniff) i miss that toering. It was moon & stars.
Anyways thats what I'm doing, kewl huh!?!

I will do as I always do.. stay inside in my basement and wear 3-4 layers with sunblock..(just in case, the sun can be sneaky)

I think I will be going outside to get a tan, hang in the pool and have a few friends over for drinks. The staying inside thing is just not me since I was a beach baby and always in the sun. But don't forget your sun block if you are going out in it. Remember the Ozone is not what it use to be.

And Scarlett your plans are just as fun in my book. RIP some of these forums.

I love the sunlight but where i live we dont get much

Spending an all-nighter at the local graveyard with a couple friends telling ghost stories and the like
*shhhhhh*...don't tell the polizei!! :X

hahahahaha.... me and my friends are always at the graveyard.... its like our turf... or our comfortzone... or whatever...lol

well, we are too, but we never really do all-nighters, and the polizei don't enjoy us being there too much, since most of the graveyards around here are "historic ghost graveyards"
a little side note: I live in the most densely ghost-populated county in the US = Georgetown County, SC

We celebrate Yule in Sydney OZ at this time.. ( our seasons are backwards to most of yours and pagan festivals were seasonal...) Went to the Mountains Winter Macgick Festival yesterday .. it was great to see so many alternates dressed and so many normals as well and I found chocolate beer

I will be celebrating the upcoming solstice in a summer festival and just looking to reminisce on old times
