This thought came to mind when I was posting in the thread "Inspiration for Dark Interests".

Do you think that people who are drawn to the dark may have some deep seated issues in their 1st and/or 2nd chakras?

For clarification, the 1st and 2nd chakras are also referred to:

1st = Base or Root Chakra
2nd= Sacral Chakra

There is not question there is a sexuality aspect to vampirism and the 1st and 2nd chakras have to deal with sexuality issues and survival needs. IMO, there seems to be a survival instinct in vampires that seem primal, almost animal-like.

I'm wondering if there is some common issue that people drawn to the dark and vampires share in one or both of those energy centers. Are there any vampires out there that have had their chakras scanned or worked on that may provide further insight?

I do not think sexual aspiration would lead to any sort of melevolent or dark interest, I would though, naturally assume that the crown chakra would be the ground stone for such behavioral patterns. Either it may be damaged or just needs a bit of cleaning. Of course a bit of PTS may cause this as well...But the assumption still lays with the Crown chakra. As it does make much more sense than sexual frustration.

How much can be related to Social Restrictive Taboo as well, as Chakras, then considering how many glands are located in the chakras location.

Wether it is from an over stimulation of the effects of the chakra, and as Soul Sroud states restricted funtion.

Toxins like metals can pollute glands as well. Effecting the metaphysical disposission of the body, and suppressing mental processes. Bright colors
Tend to trigger unfamiliarity anxiety in children raised in buildings with gray walls. So how a person is raised figures into the equation as well.

Great thread though.

When a person cannot relate to stable mundane environments, and have no active exercise regemant, and no self generated mental stimulation, they resign to grimmer stations in life, some do so to exagerate the mood below contentment. Brooding is just as much vitamin deficancy, and hormornal as it is "spiritual". I find Darkness has been fad for sometime, Noir is an Art, it makes you laugh, and then question why you are laughing, that exercises my spirit.. I like to slip sly reverences to serial killers(sometimes quotes) into conversations, not just to see how they react. but to entertain, and create an environment that challenges comfort zones. All this brings candid moments, for people to social observe each other, no one being more "enlightened"/"darker" then the others. Promising some higher level of "self", tuning your chi. Tune your mental, and physical, and then you will have a life that be healthy, make a few people uncomfortable, Turn off the lights.
