The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

After watchin/reading/hearing countless vamp stories one thing has seemed to be a main theme a dominace and disgust at your average humans i.e food.
Even more to lycanthropes and I came to a theiry that maybe vampires are well a lil bit jealous.
Sensations and such change when one is turned and we're never the same again.
But humans can feel more feel more in dark and light.
do we despise them because they have what we used to or crave.
And lycans although "Cursed" stilll get to lead a normal life.
Maybe there's a greeen eyed monster lurking in the supernatural that may come with the fangs.
Like I said just a theory.

i disagree, i chose to become what i am so why should i be jealous of shallow and narrow minded people who crave for power and will destroy themseleves in the process eventually?

Well you said it yourself you CHOSE it so in a way that knocks one aspect of my theory choice=no distaste of humanity.
But what also confuse's me (apart from the hatred/disgust) all vamps agree humans will destroy themselves yet we are willing to let them thus ending our food supply.

Vampires being jelous of humans? Not only is that not rational considering this fate has befallen us by choice, but, also, it is not in a vampires' nature to be jelous of any being, either higher or lower than their own.

Maybe vampires could be jealous of humans. Humans only live on the earth for only so long, then they die. Vampires are stuck on earth forever. Almost everything has lost its beauty in a vampires eyes. Too soonthey've been everywhere on earth and everything seems boring. To humans, we have too little of time to see all of what we want to see. Everything is beautiful in our eyes, because we'll never see it or smell it or touch it ever again.

I believe deathlygrasp see's where am comin from.
But true maybe a vampire would not be jealous to an extent maybe a firm resentment.

Oh, maybe this one might fit in. Vampires might be disgusted with humans, because they take so many things for granted. And if so, don't deserve to live.

I wouldn't say jealous per say...I regret being what I am and I sometimes wish I could go back to being ignorant of this world, but I also see the wonderous things that I can do now and they are, I am sure, something that 'humans' would be jealous of themselves.

But, I would say, I am no more or less human that the next guy...despite my needs.

Perhaps... I dont think I would appreciate immmortality. However, thats yet again going on the assumption that so many people beieve that they are film vampires, which I dont. SO this question doesn't really need to be answered by me.

Nop. not jealous. I like to know what I've known so far. It's little, but I don't think that "ignorance is a bliss" so...I don't agree with the theory that vampires can be jealous of humans. Maybe Louis, from Anne Rice...But then again, that's fiction.

Jealousy? no.....i feel this way more open and down to earth as what i am than used to be....i see people fussing about small petty stuff cause they're short mortal life timer is ever ticking away....while for us turned it is everlasting.

maybe after a long time of being a vampire, they do wonder bout how it wud feel to be able to go out in the day but i dont think it is for newly turned vampires.
