I lived with this women I knew when I was only 19, and I lived in her house for about 4 month.
In the mornings she would talk about a ghost that is watching over me, like protecting me like a guardian.
I did not know what she was going on about. I said what does this ghost look like?
She replied to me and said "It looks like a black figure of some sort, that watches over me.

Does anyone have any clues of who this figure could be?
And why is this ghost or guardian watching over me?
She described the ghost like a shadow figure, and wonder what this figure could be?

I am a paranormal investigator....... and if you truly have a person watching over you..... perhaps you should ask yourself who it could be....... I mean if they are connected to you then there would need be a reason...... would be something difficult for us to answer as to who it is...... theories we can all give you but only you will ever know who the person is......

it could be a number of things as other people have said. the only true way to know if the house is haunted or if there is something watching over you as some one said before ask your self who it could be, then bring out the Ouija board. but thats just me.

Possible that it is just a blurred shadow of the eyes wondering, cases have been studied of this and yet no profound proof has been determined.

Film of such things circulate yet proven to be a light bouncing of an object yet our eyes trying to figure the thing out comes up with irrational ideas.

No, I slept on the sofa, I did not get along with her.
I think she was seeing things, and she was nasty to people living in her street, trying to rip people off, she drove herself to suicide, because of drugs. She kept me hostage in her flat, but I left her, and my cousin and step father helped me leave the house. She went on drugs and went mad, and I never saw her again. About 3 years later someone told me that she hanged herself.

I man I knew called Bob lived in that flat, because she drove him out of his flat, so he moved, because she attacked him with scissors, because she would have a drink in the flat with Bob and friends, a arguement broke out, and she smash his flat. He got sick of her Verbally attacking him in the street, so he moved into a different flat. She decided to move into that flat, and Bob warned me to keep away from her. Strange things happened in that flat, she kept talking about this ghost in the passage. I did not see anything, but when she was going to the toilet in the middle of the night, she kept seeing this shadow ghost with a hat starring at her at the doorway where I was sleeping on the sofa.
She said she was paranoid and scared at night. I thought that the ghost must be haunting her, because I never saw anything, just things seemed to go wrong for her, like misfortune. There was something about that flat when I was alone in there, It felt creepy, but I did not see anything.

Her mate that went in that flat, because the both of them ripped me off, and Bob had been ripped off, because he borrow her money, and she lied and said to Bob You did not give me any money. I think the ghost was coming for them for what she and her friend were doing in that flat. Her mate went back home to his girlfriends house one night and he hung himself in the attic. The black figured ghost must be somekind of demon that comes for bad people.

It could be a number of things. The alcohol/drug abuse, mental illness, or just being negative. If she was a negative and mean person even without being under the influence of drugs and alcohol, she may have attracted a negative spirit or numerous ones. No one will ever probably know. It is very sad that it ended with her committing suicide and never getting help with her problems.

We offered her help, and we tryed, but she throw in our faces. A lot of people were hurt, and some people were devestated about the loss of her, and I lost friendship with her because of drugs, and trying to use me for money, I could not cope, so I left, and got my own place.
The flat was haunted, I was confused at the time when she kept seeing, and thought there most be something paranormal about the flat. That is why I made this, because I was researching spirits, and I was curious about the description of the ghost, and I was wanting to know why the ghost was haunting, and why would it be so negitive.

Why all the insistance on Paranormal, when it is rather obvious it is behavior related. As if it has to be something more then human flaws, projected onto
cramped living quarters. So many people want to deny that a person can become so dissassociated with psycosis. That and the constant desire to testify to some "super natural disturbance", what about the increased disturbance from presumed haunting? Write it off as social discourse intensified by drug traffic, and stressed environment..

If you are ever to recover stability, and exercise the lingering tension (that could provide an excuse for another persons suspect behabior) then it would be best to place the event in context, and mention it in exclusive company, I have seen to often people usurping claims of haunted places, to excuse, and transfer impulsive behavior, after all why take the blame for some blunt social error, when one can blame it on geist?

I would say what you can do is set up a tape recorder and ask it some question like are you here for me, what is your name and so on, can I help you in any way. then just see what you come up with. I bet you will be amazed as to what you might find out.


I would stay from the Ouija board, unless you no how to use one.

This is just my opinion but there are spirits that hang round certain places , and they can create bad vibes , but so can people , If alot of bad things happend in the house for you and for her , then you would both project your own feelings about everything into your surroundings , and the house would take on bad vibes through you . If there was a malevont spirit in the house , they can be attracted to fear , if she was scared to go to the toilet on her own , the spirit would feel that and use it , and she would help it by beliving something was there .Sometimes houses stagnate , and theres just a bad vibe . They just need a good cleaning , coat of paint , and some fresh , happy people .

I am not sure if the spirit was attached to me, but when I got away from her, I got further into education, and now I am becoming more of a scholer, am young and I just want to learn more things in life. The shadow spirit could of been somekind of guardian, but we will never know what it was.

I have always been fasinated by occultism, I do practice in my spare time to become a magician by seeking knowledge and wisdom from the spirits.

Have you tried simply asking " in God's name what do you want ?" i know it sounds simple and contrite but i have found that before i pull out my Ouija board ordo any long drawn out ritual i ask this simple question and what ever it is either gives me an idea of what it wants or simply vanishes .... it could also be from lack of sleep or tremendous stress .... it could be a blind spot in ones vision .... it could a spirit guide that has not fully revealed itself to you ... the possibilities are endless

Umm....I sorry to say, but it just sounds like she was crazy. You say that you felt negative vibes or whatever, how do you know you weren't feeling them because of her? You said that you didn't experiance anything. Well, that's probably because it isn't haunted. You just thought it was because of her. And I wouldn't really trust what a doped up person was telling me anyway.

I look for the Motive behind reporting any claimed sighting, or any accounts of people that claim to have sighted something. If a person knows that tension is building against them, because of their impulsive behavior, and bad habits, and related stigma.. example, a tenet for an added flat told the land lady that she was haunted, that a ghost followed her around.. the reason I came to find was to preset an excuse for the drug traffic, and late night Bumping.. some people simply like to see how much of an impression they make on others, to imply supernatural occurences is to invoke reverence in some people, or delude a person into thinking people revere them.

I was fasinated by Occultism and Spirtualism, and we would have conversations about ghosts. Some nights she would act strange talking about a black shadowed figure that stood in the passage way everynight opposite to room where I was sleeping, and then it started from there, and she blamed me about things that moved around the house, and she blamed it on the ghost, saying that it was my guardian, that it was responsible for strange stuff that was going on in the house. She went crazy losing anger as if she was possesed by a demonic entity.

i guess on what the spirit does and if it haunts or jus loves the secretness of the darkness for personal reasons, to be unknown. Ive only seen white figures, wish i seen both

I have seem black shadows before one experience was negative and the other two positive.... the negative one was many yr ago i was young at that time...when i was playing with my brother with the ouija board but we were mocking the board and the spirits and even using foul language.. after my brother left out the room i place the board on the bed and i lay beside it laughing my head off and while i did this a black shadow appeared she it was a woman she licked my face and tried too hold me down i began to shake and gained control and ran out the room... my second encounter was the black shadow appeared to me in my room .. on the wall it played out what was happening too some individual or let say what the individual was doing at that time..it seem like a movie but with shadows.. after wards ... This person came to me and i told him what he was doing he was in shock by it all and couldnt figured out who told me about it.. so it was a foretelling shadow.... the other experience was that the shadow appeared after some one death and it just pass by me... and i felt a warm breezed....

i watch ghost hunters from time to time...i dont know how much of the show is real, but some of the footage has shown completely black figures that moved very quickly.
I dont discount the possibility at least.

There are no such things as Black ghosts, Black Demonic forces-YES! Human essence-NO!
I have been haunted by such since very earliy child hood, and after thirty anghonizy years of serious research and opening my mind to all realms of possiblities, I have learned who and what I always known I was, and they have not bothered me since then.
They did however try to engulf my son two years ago , as he is a pureblodd wiccan male, which is very rare. Luckily he came to me, in tears however. Now he has gained my knowledge and has full control to banish them at free will.

I've seen what i always defined them as the shadow people but they aren't anything as some people described here at times such as hooded or cloaked. The one's i always sensed around me were various sizes and most would just come around and then flee and a couple i've had full on contact with. They never brought any harm to me least that i can tell. Some people define them as 'the watchers'. Most that are judgemental off the bat view black as evil , or black anything as evil, which isn't the case at all. I never sensed anything bad about their presence but if one really kept being bothered by them too much could easily banish them from their homes by simply being demanding, firm and taking charge over where you live. Fear is easy to generate out of people and easy to feed on but your inner strength and courage is all one really needs. I hope this helps. As for the lady, considering she was on drugs and such i couldn't believe anything that came out of her mouth esp the trouble she's caused you during your life.
