And just to let you know i deleted about 12 replies to this thread that were all along the lines of;

I was adding another story to tie into the first thread I had posted Named “Old Vampire Tales”. It is mainly a informative thread, with hopes that others would post some other interesting stories.

I actually have never heard of “Carmilla”movie. I looked it up, and there seems to be a few movies made based on his book. I am going to have to check them out. Thank you for pointing out that there was a movie.

Ok I never knew there was a movie about it. I heard about the book when I was like this one when I was 12. When did they make the movie? Can someone please tell me I would love to watch it.~NFA

The one I saw was made in the late 60's I think... I remember watching it as a teenager and thinking "Thoes girls are having WAY too much fun with eachother!"

I am not sure about any of the other versions though...

I found reference to at least 12 movies based on the Carmilla story as well as three made for tv adaptations and two comic book limited run series.

Read the story years ago and knew there were a few movies based on it, but not as many as I am finding now that I am looking it up lol. I am sure there are a lot more then these out there.

it is a very good book,it is a hard read at times but over all the story is very well witten
