I was born with certain abilities but other than what comes naturally so me, I try to avoid performing active witchcraft. I did a few spells back in the day and one of them went horribly wrong. Nobody died or anything, but it was close. Do any of you have natural abilities or practice active witchcraft? I mean, for real. This is not a question for wannabes and role players.

I do I just do it with people I trust though I try not to do it on my own though I have a few times and I have also had spells go wrong before

Do I practice? On occasion, of course. Do I have "special abilities" yes, but they are not to be revealed for sensationalism or advertising purposes and are only revealed when nessessary or required.

Though I am not Thorough Witch I do believe in divinity and psycho spiritual yoga, but its taken in Witchcraft too to certain level. so unknowingly I am doing some spells such as prayers I do every night before sleep. I awake my subconscious in certain cases and Honorable Witches too awake subconscious atthe time of making or casting spell.

I do visualising and astral certain time this too is the part of Withcraft. as I saw in 4 pentagram cross light prayer of banishing in Witchcraft. this include eergy hovering too.

By witchcraft, I mean the arcane craft of the unknown esoterics, not the christian named witchcraft of the green faced pointy nose old hag.

Two very different crafts all together. I should just say, I do practice the esoterics on occasion. Yes, thats it.

This is part of witchcraft and in other forms I too perform but not in the same manner.

visualising the light on finger tip and taking to the forehead is the energy hovering and itgives blast of energies on forehead and banishes bad energies.

and visualsiing self as giant too is the part of psycho so I do perform that at certain time.

The light on the finger seems like a play on a certain movie (E.T. ring a bell), touching the third eye again seems more like a cursing with the "evil eye" more then a draw of energy.

As well, I think you ment "psychie" with your last paragraph and not psycho.

Yes its the word psychie. But touching finger with the vsualising light (energy) to he forehed i too have tested. But to me it was not evil. its like cleansing your third eye area and crown from stress. after that you can do good center focal point exercise...

The only way that I have ever learned to cleanse my third eye as well as crown chakra is to just "dust" off the area by moving both hands in a cupped fashion in a concentrating way (as in focusing and picturing the residule negative energies flaking away) from the chin up to the top of the head, then shaking off the hands such as finging the dust into the metaphorical wind.

I am more into the Earth magic....yes I do practice...but not often.

We all have special abilities. We are just a vessel that those who have their special abilities comes through a Higher Power.

Do I practice ? yes Do I practice like they do in the craft or other movies No , to us this is a religion, a way of life, I ,m a natural witch so I don't really have to do a lot of stuff to get something done. As for special abilities I guess I have as many as anyone else has .I have a real good bull shit meter goes off loud and clear every time I get near a bullshitter.

I would imagine the reason you had trouble was because like most, you were curious and decided to buy or borrow a book and try it out.
This is nothing to mess around with. You need to learn how to do incantations properly and you MUST be well atuned and balanced within all four elements in order to incant Rites outward unto the universe.
What happened to you is known as Backflashing.
Any doubt in your belief can cause this as well as performing incantations incorrectly.
This should not make you afraid to continue however, you just need to aquire the knowledge and proper skill techniquies first.

I am a strong empath. I also have a very perceptive "BS
meter". The curse with this ability is "feeling" the vibrations from every thing. Being yourself and not crying or overreacting to everything is abominable. Takes a lot of behavioral reconditioning. A strong, unbalanced empath can easily screw up any ritual. Trust me. LOL!

I do practice, but I don't really think practice is a good word for what I do everyday I use my abilities it just comes naturally. I do follow the medicine path which is a part of my culture.
Thinking about it in retrospect I can't say I've ever gone a day without using an ability. It would be a completely foreign concept to go a day without using any abilities at all.

You need to differentiate witchcraft from wicca, they are not the same. Why do you assume you are "practicing" witchcraft as opposed to sorcery? Do you consider them the same? Most dictionaries will use Witchcraft as another word for sorcery or in fact almost any kind of magick you can think of but it's not the same and for some Sorcery deals with summoning demons and Theurgy with angels. Although Sorcery is more for dealing with a sort of magick that is self oriented. Then you have necromancy which deals with the aid of the dead. All of it is magick. None of them deal with any sort of nature worship or necessarily with using the same types of tools if they use them. Some use ritual and specific spells while others use symbology for what their desire is and create it simply by breaking down the desire into a symbolic form. There is no real spell per se but more of a wish. In my opinion Witchcraft is handed down and from a more specific region of the world even though it has been used loosely since the word was applied by religious groups. Although, some believe witches are born and not made and others just the opposite. There is no real answer but I don't consider witchcraft to necessarily be the correct word to describe all forms of magick used.

In Wicca you have the god and goddess aspect and Priests and Priestesses but in Eurpean Traditional Witchcraft they have none of that. I would think it would follow that what you are describing is someone who has a natural ability to commune with the universe one might say and put things into action...simply a magickian whether male or female. They may use aspects of nature to get a specific outcome but it is nothing like the aforementioned. Natural magick is the art of employing the powers of nature to produce effects apparently supernatural.

Even though calling it natural magick isn't technically correct it is someone who is born with a natural ability to practice what I would call neutral magick. They just have an affinity for it. Create their own system which works for them, with or without specific spells. A lot of this naming everything that deals with magick to be witchcraft is a misconception of religion.

Curiousity is one of the main feelings that drives the individual to continue to study such genres of humanity. It is that which we seek, the arcane, out of curiousity that gets us to expound our knowledge of the unknown. By practice as well as research deeper into the esoteric works.

If it were not for curiousity, no one would wish to venture into any philosophies or practices.

I have had reasonably good luck with my spells. As long as it isn't used to harm anyone, its ok. Just be careful.

I practise majik and witchcraft. I took it up shortly after I started to see and hear Spirits.

If anyone asked what is the best majik to use though, crystals are powerful, and are the best to use when you are preforming it alone.

I wouldn't say the best magic(k) to use, but the best "tools" for the specific effect. From Crystals and sea-salt, to candles and incense... Just depends what is the most comfortable to whom ever the individual is.

WitchCraft in Hinduism is in different form...

We too do pooja, Hawan wit Mantras and Shudhikaran *Shuddhikaran = Banishing" but its all religious and not the part of the thorough witchcraft like the Witch Communes having al pentacle etc as symbole and pincipal... as pagan and community we too have panths.

But it all performing all under the universal Poojas and Hawans and not beyond that all.

I do not practice witchcraft at this point in time. There arn't really 'spells' involved with Ceremonial magic, per se, just ritual.

i have some natural talent and im pretty good with a pendulum but i dont see myself as a witch.
