I know that there have been a lot of threads about death and my question is and to quote Davey Jones from Pirates of the Caribbean,
"Do you fear death?"
Me personally, I do not fear death. I've seen death much more than most kids my age and have grown used to it and dont fear it anymore.
Nope, I welcome it, though I would like to be with a certain someone when I die. To quote a line from a favorite game of mine "It's not death I fear, It's dying here."
a simular thread has been posted on this topic recently. It would make an ideal poll though.
While there has been a thread opened recently regarding this same topic structure (I can't seem to find it), I will answer accordingly.
I do not fear death because I know what lay beyond the veil first hand. There is no real reason to fear death, the individual does not fear the death, but the actions and pain that lead to it. They would rather die suddenly then prolong the pain before the inevitable.
Once one has been placed in the grip of the death air, they will find that they may no longer care about life for a couple of seconds and that everything is alright. It is all o.k. for those several minutes. One may realize that their physical problems such as stress, money worries, relationship issues are meaningless because in the end, it is just you and the hereafter, the selfish ties are severed and all fear of living extinguishes itself for a moments time.
This is why I do not fear death. The feelings that I was aware of. The sensations. The realizations. I felt cold after the fact, not during it. I was alive after the transition and dead before it. If one grasps this concept, then they would realize that death is a very good adventure once they experience the first level of it.
