I have heard different opinions on the use by open up chakras thru medication. 1 chakra is the third eye. But what is the third eye really? Is it simply a sence? Well the regular eyes is in some ways a sence to but i think you understand what i try to explain here. If open up that chakra what will the effect be? It would also be interesting to hear effects by open up other chakras aswell. What is your experience of chakras?

Yes,that is what Shaman and some other siritual people use to help open the Chakras with Panter.Hallucinogens have been used for eons but for me personally, they are not needed.
I believe that the Chakras are opened via resonance. So whatever it takes for a person to attain the correct resonance to do so ,if they cannot do so one their own, they will do it with the aid of 'medication".It is also my belief that the third eye is simply a channel that allows us to access a certain frequency much like a fiberoptic phoneline.

I don't believe in using Medication to open your third eye chakra. This chakra can be opened with meditation and discipline.

The third eye is your spiritual chakra and will reveal to aspects of your life that have been hidden to you. Visualisation helps to open this chakra. Mediating on the mantra for this chakra is very helpful.

interesting. it seems as a good tool if i manage to learn how to do it. But for sure not an easy thing. The ability to open chakras i think also depends on how well balanced you are in mind when try to doing it. Just a theory ofcourse but the ability to open them would reflect your ability to focus right?

There is more to it than balance.I do not feel that balance is an essential in opening this Chakra.(Others might feel differently )It does require focus however...and setting your mind to the correct frequency. There are some things in my journal that might help you to understand what I am telling you.

your a slave driver with your words Oceanne anyone ever said that?

but you are totally correct in the saying of it. There are many ways to achieve this, it becomes not about the doing but about the frequencies, and currents that are able to be controlled by the conscious mind to resonate within the body opening up the energy centers.

When sober it was impossible just a blur...maybe that was a 3rd eye who knows...who cares, I have trouble dealing with this reality without others popping up.as you can tell being a Vamp was not my 1st choice Grrrrr...LOL.TFS.

The Seven Major Chakras

Tantric chakras
Sahasrara
Ajna
Vishuddha
Anahata
Manipura
Swadhisthana
Muladhara

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bindu

Sahasrara: The Crown Chakra
Sahasrara is generally considered to be the chakra of pure consciousness. Its role may be envisioned somewhat similarly to that of the pituitary gland, which secretes emanuel hormones to communicate to the rest of the endocrine system and also connects to the central nervous system via the hypothalamus. The thalamus is thought to have a key role in the physical basis of consciousness. Symbolized by a lotus with one thousand petals, it is located at the crown of the head. Sahasrara is represented by the colour violet and it involves such issues as inner wisdom and the death of the body. Sahasrara's inner aspect deals with the release of karma, physical action with meditation, mental action with universal consciousness and unity, and emotional action with "beingness".

Ajna: The Brow Chakra
Ajna (along with Bindu, is also known as the third eye chakra) is linked to the pineal gland which may inform a model of its envisioning. The pineal gland is a light sensitive gland that produces the hormone melatonin which regulates sleep and waking up. Ajna is symbolised by a lotus with two petals, and corresponds to the colour white, indigo or deep blue. Ajna's key issues involve balancing the higher & lower selves and trusting inner guidance. Ajna's inner aspect relates to the access of intuition. Mentally, Ajna deals with visual consciousness. Emotionally, Ajna deals with clarity on an intuitive level.

(Note: some opine that the pineal and pituitary glands should be exchanged in their relationship to the Crown and Brow chakras, based on the description in Arthur Avalon's book on kundalini called Serpent Power or empirical research.)

Vishuddha: The Throat Chakra
Vishuddha (also Vishuddhi) may be understood as relating to communication and growth through expression. This chakra is paralleled to the thyroid, a gland that is also in the throat and which produces thyroid hormone, responsible for growth and maturation. Symbolised by a lotus with sixteen petals. Vishudda is characterized by the color light or pale blue, or turquoise. It governs such issues as self-expression and communication, as discussed above. Physically, Vishuddha governs communication, emotionally it governs independence, mentally it governs fluent thought, and spiritually, it governs a sense of security.

Anahata: The Heart Chakra
Anahata, or Anahata-puri, or padma-sundara is related to the thymus, located in the chest. The thymus is an element of the immune system as well as being part of the endocrine system. It is the site of maturation of the T cells responsible for fending off disease and may be adversely affected by stress. Anahata is symbolised by a lotus flower with twelve petals. (See also heartmind). Anahata is related to the colours green or pink. Key issues involving Anahata involve complex emotions, compassion, tenderness, unconditional love, equilibrium, rejection and well-being. Physically Anahata governs circulation, emotionally it governs unconditional love for the self and others, mentally it governs passion, and spiritually it governs devotion.

Manipura: The Solar Plexus Chakra
Manipura or manipuraka is related to the metabolic and digestive systems. Manipura is believed to correspond to Islets of Langerhans, which are groups of cells in the pancreas, as well as the outer adrenal glands and the adrenal cortex. These play a valuable role in digestion, the conversion of food matter into energy for the body. Symbolised by a lotus with ten petals. The colour that corresponds to Manipura is yellow. Key issues governed by Manipura are issues of personal power, fear, anxiety, opinion-formation, introversion, and transition from simple or base emotions to complex. Physically, Manipura governs digestion, mentally it governs personal power, emotionally it governs expansiveness, and spiritually, all matters of growth.

Svadhisthana: The Sacral Chakra
Swadhisthana, Svadisthana or adhishthana is located in the sacrum (hence the name) and is considered to correspond to the testes or the ovaries that produce the various sex hormones involved in the reproductive cycle. Svadisthana is also considered to be related to, more generally, the genitourinary system and the adrenals. The Sacral Chakra is symbolized by a lotus with six petals, and corresponds to the colour orange. The key issues involving Svadisthana are relationships, violence, addictions, basic emotional needs, and pleasure. Physically, Svadisthana governs reproduction, mentally it governs creativity, emotionally it governs joy, and spiritually it governs enthusiasm.

Muladhara: The Base Chakra
Muladhara or root chakra is related to instinct, security, survival and also to basic human potentiality. This centre is located in the region between the genitals and the anus. Although no endocrine organ is placed here, it is said to relate to the gonads and the adrenal medulla, responsible for the fight-or-flight response when survival is under threat. There is a muscle located in this region that controls ejaculation in the sexual act of the human male. A parallel is charted between the sperm cell and the ovum where the genetic code lies coiled and the kundalini. Muladhara is symbolized by a lotus with four petals and the colour red. Key issues involve sexuality, lust and obsession. Physically, Muladhara governs sexuality, mentally it governs stability, emotionally it governs sensuality, and spiritually it governs a sense of security.

Woodroffe also describes 7 head chakras (including Ajna and Sahasrara) in his other Indian text sources. Lowest to highest they are: Talu/Talana/Lalana, Ajna, Manas, Soma, Brahmarandra, Sri (inside Sahasrara), Sahasrara.

The third eye (also known as the inner eye) is a mystical and esoteric concept referring in part to the ajna (brow) chakra in certain Eastern and Western spiritual traditions. It is also spoken of as the gate that leads within to inner realms and spaces of higher consciousness. In New Age spirituality, the third eye may alternately symbolize a state of enlightenment or the evocation of mental images having deeply-personal spiritual or psychological significance. The third eye is often associated with visions, clairvoyance (which includes the ability to observe chakras and auras),precognition, and out-of-body experiences, and people who have allegedly developed the capacity to utilize their third eyes are sometimes known as seers.

The Chakras as most people know them today are indeed numbered and thought of incorrectly. This is because they do not understand the meaning and do not have a teacher that does either. So let me give you a quick understanding what's happening in the upper Chakras.

First, the lower three Chakras focuses on early development of the Human race; survival, reproduction, and then self-empowerment.

The next higher Chakras develop as civilization grew. Heart and Throat starts to begin their journey throughout the world. We see this now as more people, and governments, show more care and speak for 'a greater purpose' and greater concern for their people and the world itself.

But as we have seen and read, this 'eye chakra,' 'third eye,' is what everyone seems to focus on. Pun intended. The reason is always the same too - Power.

History is loaded with people trying short-cuts to get this 'six chakra' to open and either get 'superpowers' or, as today, see and work with the Spirit-world.

It was known in the past about using drugs and forcing the eye chakra to open. They paid a very great price for it too. People were either lazy or impatient even back then. But we all know that some will take the short-cut. But why is it a short-cut if we're coming from the fifth chakra to the six? It should be a nature growth to the six - right?

That's the issue we have today. The third eye is NOT the six chakra but the seventh! And as thus, very easy to open. You should not have any trouble working this chakra IF you were coming from the Crown Chakra.

Doesn't that really make sense? Think about it.

The crown chakra is the one that connects us to Spirit in the first place. Afterwards - you get to work with it. You need to establish the strong connection first. Duh.

Not being funny on that "duh." It was so common a concept when the chakras first come known that it was a given. The reason why we only had originally six total chakras. The crown chakra was not first counted.

Not knowing this, the confusion started. People now counted straight up to the top. As a "!" mark. But try to think of the Chakras as a question mark - "?" Look familiar? Yep, a serpent. Now you know were we get that serpent from.

Work on your connection to Spirit first with all your other lower Chakras. Then, when your ready, that third eye will open right up.

Now that ~Oceanne~ and ~Billy~ have chimed in, time for my two cents.. HA!

Anywho, the chakras... Where to begin? the crown chakra I think is the best place to start, since the physical body is the root of the soul. This is the best way to describe the chakra of the spirit connecting to the individual. Since the spirit is the higher self, then the crown chakra is the root that connects to the tree of life, or tree of the soul.

The kundalini plays a factor in this as well, since all the chakra once connected on the grand scale, the kundalini are activated over time. As the kundalini is activated, then the individual could possibly gain an awareness that they may have thought to never have existed.

Since the physical body is the seat of the soul, then all energies from the physical body are the base for the soul itself. Thus, what the body feels emotionally, the soul takes with it. The body is made up not of water, but of light on the microcellular level. This is what creates energy for the body that has to do with the soul. Since both are virtually connected, after the body dies, the soul takes what it has learned from that body and carries it to either the next body, or to the next plain of existance.

The chakras help the energies flow from the body to the soul, thus while keeping the body healthy, it also keeps the soul healthy. Which is why it is good to have a spirit healer, or reiki master to heal certain chakra that are out of whack. Thus, if the soul feels sick, the body will as well. The body is the vessel for the soul. Don't take that for granted. As we are all soul in the end, what we do with the body could be stated as a reflection of that soul.

Two plus two plus two equals alot more than one plus nothing.;)

What about individuals who seem to go through the opening of the Chakras with relative ease?
Or those who do not have a hard time remaing balanced and unclogged? Do you feel they might have been exposed to or are so continusly exposed to certain frequencies that promote clear chakras? Or something else, such as reincarnation? Any thoughts on that?

Anyone can open the chakra with relative easy if they learn how to. The frequencies themselves on the metaphysical side, are almost always in tune with the soul. Reincarnation would be another thread though, since the soul is connected on several dimensional levels and thus reincarnation would play a huge role when these energies need to manifest on the physical level in order for the soul to reach its intended target for added knowledge.

Not sure if I answered your questions, but this is a start.

An interesting read.
Is it possible for another individual with malice in mind, to interfere with the Chakras in such a way to cause
dis-ease? perhaps worse.

It does happen from time to time, yes ~Fallingstar~. Such is the way of certain uses of the esorterics. As well as those who practice "psychic" vampirism can do it, since they could be a conduit for such energies.

I think it all depends on how tight your defenses are.So yes,if your defenses are not strong,or they have holes in them, then I feel it is very possible that those with malicious intent could slip through.

An interesting note continued from what has already been posted here:

Chakra. (Sanskrit for "wheel," "disc," "circle.") Term used to denote the centers of light anchored in the etheric body and governing the flow of energy to the four lower bodies of man. There are seven major chakras corresponding to the seven rays, five minor chakras corresponding to the five secret rays, and a total of 144 light centers in the body of man. The seven major chakras, their rays, Sanskrit names, and colors are as follows:

First Ray, throat, Vishuddha, blue.
Second Ray, crown, Sahasrara, yellow.
Third Ray, heart, Anahata, pink.
Fourth Ray, Base-of-the-spine, Muladhara, white.
Fifth Ray, third eye, Ajna, green.
Sixth Ray, solar plexus, Manipura, purple and gold.
Seventh Ray, seat-of-the-soul(root of the soul as I had mentioned), Svadhishthana (St. Germain), violet.

Resourced from a book entitled: St. Germain On Alchemy, Formula For Self-Transformation.

"An interesting read.

I don't really believe that someone can hurt you through chakra manipulation, so to speak. But you got it spot on with dis-ease, because years of dis-ease causes disease in your body.

Now actually, when you get down to it, we are responsible for how we respond to people and the way they are to us. If someone hurts our feelings, it's US that can't handle the truth of the matter or take it personally. So sure, people can know how to push our buttons, but it's ourselves that allow the hurt. But hell, it's hard to be immune to other's bullshit.

When you are doing Reiki, which works with the Chakras, it's all about intent. And it cannot do harm. Reiki energy is intelligent and goes in the body where it's needed, though it does help to heal particular areas/chakras that may be spinning wrong.

You see, when we get hurt deeply, either emotionally or physically, our chakras can get thrown off. Each one of them spins at the same, constant rate. If something happens to us, then one or a few chakras can spin differently. If that goes on for a long time, disease can happen. Also, you can have rips and tears in your aura and energy seeps out of it. We have several layers to our aura.

Anyway, if you get your chakras realigned, you will feel better. But it's not an instant BAM, HEALED thing like in the movies. Reiki is channeling of universal energy that is everywhere, through a person to another, and that energy helps the body to heal itself.

Oh and the psychic vamp thing.....I can't stand them. But some people don't mean to be, they just are. They are the complainers that want to dump their crap on you to feel better. They are the ones that talk and won't let you talk. They are the ones that are so hyper. They are the ones that are full of drama and bring it to you. Blech. You aren't a human dumpster. Stay away from them if you want to be happy. Walk away. Run.

And the ones that do it on purpose? Pfft, assholes.
