The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I just read an article on expressindia.com that Amy Winehouse is planning on throwing a vampire themed New Years party. Do you think this is ridiculous like I do? That she is jumping on the vampire bandwagon now that Twilight is so popular? What are your thoughts?

I would say good for her. Perhaps she has liked vampires for years and years like many of us. Who is to say she is jumping on the bandwagon? The members of VR don't have the market on being fans of vampires.

Who knows, if more celebrities endorse vampires in general, there might eventually be room for a dialogue to be opened up between real vampires and the rest of society.

Eventually, vampires will be able to walk in the light without fear.

Ridiculous that someone is jumping on a bandwagon? Okay... for a moment let's just forget we're talking about Twilight. A real non-conformer doesn't give a rat's ass what anyone thinks. They like what they like no matter how many or how little others do. The only thing ridiculous is that people are too concerned with everyone else's preferences.

Is someone less because they like books and movies you don't? If that's true, you won't find anyone in this world that lives up to your standards. Prepared to be let down by everyone.

Being that we just finished a thread here in the main forum about this very thing (sans Amy Winehouse), I'm going to close this one and give the forum a breather with it.
