What is your definition of Dreamscaping or sometimes called, Scaping?
Whats the real/craziest thing you've ever done while in the Dream Realm or Dreamscaping?
Ever Curious
My definition is that Scaping is things in your life that are going on that come out in your dreams. Also going to your happy place and staying there while your body "recharges" (so to speak) and think.
I don't dream much but when I do its usually of something chasing me or going to a beach and watchin the sunset.
Wait, now I'm confused, is dreamscaping the same is lucid dreaming?
Meaning is it another name for being aware of the fact that you are dreaming and being able to influence the dream?
In Hindu teachings the world of Dreams is just as real as the world we live in on a normal basis. It is something made up the essence of our being and that of the worlds about us. The Dream realms we can manipulate, control and bend to our will, only if we know how to do so.

I've had moments like those but usually they are picking up things such as symbols, names, messages, seeing ghosts/spirits, gods/goddesses, encounters by entities such as vampires, dragons, etc etc I've had someone TO control a moment on this "dreamscape" as you define it. It left me with quite an impression that i have never had another moment like it with anyone else so far. :)
What are some of the craziest things y'all have done while in the dream realm dreamscaping? *raises a curious eyebrow*
I practice lucid dreaming and have for a while, one ofthe most potent parts of it, that I have found is the feeling that as you are aware of the dream you feel trapped too, like your whole body is paralysed.
That is a scary moment and took me a while to get over the problem was as soon as I felt aware, I fet trapped and therefore I felt the need to force myself to move, in doing so you wake up and the dream scape is over.
Once you conquor this you can actually control your lucid dreams more effectively.
Thats a very loose description and its far more indepth than that.
Good thread
I beleive that it is a skill we can all work at, not something you are born with but something that some will find easier than others like everything else.
When something is too easy it is often taken for granted. I'd rather it be hard and it was for me to learn it but once learnt it is easier to do.
I sit on the side that says you are asleep but aware that you are asleep and aware that you cave control over the dream
My advice to your video is, try it see if it is easy for you to do then you will have your answer
A definition of Dream Scaping is to travel into other peoples dreams by your control. Thus invading their dreams for communicable purposes.
I believe the term is called dream walking. Don't quote me on this.
What I can't stand is when I am aware that I'm dreaming and end up ruining everything, because the pessimist in me, makes things become difficult.
So if our dreams are symbols about our future, am I ruining my own life?
Crazy things, I don't think I ever did anything crazy, except for feeling powerful and throw fire out of my hands...
I used to be able (especially when I was pagan and involved in a triplicity coven) to meet the rest of my coven in the dream realm. Oddly, if you do it and let go enough, it's very strange...its always like the physical realm but you always control what happens there. Like, it becomes a playground. Some of the pagans I learned from even taught methods on how to dreamscape and make things happen to a person while they are sleeping...definatley images and messages they'd wake up remembering lol.
I posted this because I didnt know if anybody else heard of this practice and actually did it. Im super curious to hear about some cool tales from others that can and have lol...

I have heard of the definitive practice that I described within my first post and do it on occasion. It is far different then lucid dreaming.
The individual is fully aware that they are within the dream since it is a state of astral projection. They take to anothers dream within this astral dimension and thus the communicable response. Though it is always up to the dreamer if they want their target to know that they are within the dream.
Many who try this practice for the first couple of times may get an instinctive fear sensation like the individual might wake up and spot them, thus ending the dream state. Some would call this scenerio a "nightmare."
A post worth following and points valid in many directions....spot on!
Dream Walking, Scaping, Cultural Diversity in the fold....and the terminology to make people actually look things up, read, ponder...Oh My!
Please keep it going...and pardon the pun but;
A Dream Come True in progress for many within VR....hmmm wonder what the meaning of THAT is....
