I am on a quest for truth, the truth about this site's reason of being. Why it says ultimate vampire resource, and yet the vampires are shot down by others. Almost as if being a vampire here is a bad thing...
From the lore of many by forums, mentors, friends, it seems in my conclusion so far that vampirereave was built for vampires, and now many of the true vampires are being attacked by others that are not vampires. Attempting to prove them wrong, they do not exist, and are simply evil.
The truth will be found, I intend on it! However, I am still narrowminded in many ways, I doubt I can do this alone. If anyone seeks the truth as do I please message me, or find my emails at (onelasthacker@gmail and onelasthacker@yahoo)
Truth, is that not worth fighting for? is that not worth dying for? I think it is...
"I believe wisdom comes from both where you were born AND were told not to go."
I know that I will likely get some hate mail, but haters against truth are like me in many ways. I can admit I do not have all the answers, but I believe in seeking them...
"Do you? After all, the decision is yours not mine."
Are you asking us if we're interested in seeking the truth?
We see so much mockery because what is being presented to us as "real" seems to be idioticy, role playing, deathanxiety, the poorly educated, attention seekers...I could go on, but it really isn't necessary to list a whole host of other psychological phenomenon.
Granted the site has seen changes over the years, I can not claim to have knowledge to its state prior 2006, as I was not here.
The majority of people who claim to be vampires constanely state they want to be accepted, yet it is rather clear they want people to be intimadated by their alledged idenity.
When people say they are not intrested in what you believe, or are convinced of, how is that offensive.
So desperate for validation.
Everythings about what you identify as.
People have reasons why they are not compelled to subscribe to the ideal that a fraction of people adopt.
you want a site that caters completly to your ideals?
Then run off and make one.
Why be offended by people who are simply intrested in the traditional vampire genre, is it your desire to convince the world that such Tradition is false, and that their is a "Truth". Then Here's an idea, produce documents. produce something? Anything but, "Well personal experience convinces me."
We share a few things in common, but it is not my goal to say what I post about Vampyres is right.
Rather I will look at the sources, read what people got to say and then proclaim, "this is how I see it". Since it is a point of view, no one is wrong. Nor is anyone right when it is opinion. I can read something and think what it means, but I will not have the same answer as the others.
My goal is to look at the facts, than say what I think they mean, you can agree, you dont have to agree. But please do not tell me this is right because I say so, especially if its opinion.
So is there any1 who wants to set the facts? Or will I get more of these discouraging comments?
"The majority of people who claim to be vampires constanely state they want to be accepted"
Once again, the vamp does not care if it is accepted or not. It is adult, mature and could live on its own until kindom come if need be. It does not play the stupid high school "please accept me" scenerios. It does not patronize itself into that identity.
Which is why this thread is a moot point.
I laugh at those individuals who wish to be accepted because their minds are still quite young and a bit naive. They still think in that young frame of mind, wishing for "acceptance" when they should start thinking of the independant option and start living for themselves rather then wanting others to "accept" their nature. It is not and never has been about "identity".
My question to this thread "are you having an identity crisis, that makes you want to be accepted in one form or another"?
You already attempt to distinquish yourself from society, then you cry about not being believed.
Can you say.. Contradictive behavior.
You personally make too many claims to be credible.
The purpose of this site is stated plainly on the Home page
"Vampire Rave is the social networking website for vampires and goths. We are a home for real vampires across the globe.
Vampire Rave was designed as an online resource for the vampire community. Our goal is to catalog everything there is to be cataloged about vampires. This is an immense task and we have a long way to go. With your help we will become the largest vampire database, resource, and community on the Internet."
The differences each member brings to the site are their own business and outside the definition of it's purpose.
Before this continues to deteriorate, I'll end it.
