So I was reading yesterday on Goetia which is a form of magic (if I'm correct) in which one could summon demons and spirits to do their bidding. One story goes that King Solomon summoned spirits to build his great temple. Now the question I have is if King Solomon could do this, I wondered if perhaps the Magicians of Egypt summoned the same spirits to build the temples. Yes there is proof the Egyptians measured the blocks and such themselves, but there are still unanswered questions. I mean this is just a though, that maybe the spirits were used. Anyone? Thoughts on this?

That's a very good question. Unfortunately, until we find a way to travel through time safely nothing can be proved or disproved.

As far as I know, the've figured out how the Egyptians built the pyramids, so I don't think that they used spirits/demons/etc.

I'm not saying that they couldn't either, but when you have a large inexpensive labor force, it would seem a lot simpler/safer to use slaves instead.

There is a lot of controversy surrounding this topic in the paranormal community. The demons in the Goetia are not to be messed with. Not without a strong magickal training, at least.

The Goetia is another name for the Lesser Key of Solomon, which DOES pretty much deal with the summoning of demons. The only reason I even have a copy of the book is as a referrence and because...well...I'm an esoteric-knowledge-junkie. I wouldn't personally recommend invoking or evoking the energies therein.

Furthermore, I seriously doubt Solomon actually wrote the book. (As well as the Greater Key) Although some have claimed to have success with the methods.

So far as the Egyptians.... who knows? I would vote no on that one, but who's to say that magick wasn't involved in some way....

IMPORTANT NOTE:

One of the most common mistakes made with dabblers and the serious (but novice) practitioner, is that they simply draw the triangle of solomon on the floor next to the magick circle. The demon is supposed to appear in the TRIANGLE while you're safely in the circle. What the Goetia does not mention is that this triangle is actually a "Triangle of the Art." The black circle you see in the diagram is actually supposed to be a polished piece of darkened glass to serve as a scrying mirror. Most people summon the demon into a triangle which they draw. Then they don't see the demon, assume they failed, and THEY NEVER PERFORM A BANISHING to get rid of what they summoned. Assuming one believes in demons, you can obviously see how this could be a problem.

And to address the construction of the pyramids, they think the Egyptians built ramps out of clay around the exterior of the pyramids to push the blocks up, right? The paranormal community is discussing other possibilities. Such as the reason the Mayans also built pyramids, even though they lived over what, 10,000 miles away? They think there is more to them than meets the eye.

FromNothingICome, I wanted to elaborate on your point on the Lemegeton, etc. For those who want to see the demon in the triangle without a scrying mirror requires a GREAT deal of skill, and for it to take physical form, it requires ectoplasm, blood, or a body to possess. Neither of which are something for the novice. And once the demon is summoned, you'll definitely want to banish it, because now you've got a demon with full access to this realm. Have fun with that one.

the stange thing about all the constructions of the so called missing races of old times is that thier buildings line up with how the stars sat in the skies 10,500 years ago, yet they across the planet were built in difrent centuries.

it is believed there was/is a hidden race of master (massons) blue priters that have keept controll of the main layouts of each civilization still up to current times.

this one race i am researching all the time the only clue is a winged serpent were ever they have been(visited) this symbol is always left behind by them or those that have known them, there is strong evidence thay they are also close to 7ft tall narrow built and have long red hair.

Strange... I'd like to know more about this "master race".
