Absolutely. I've had several experiences with spirits. I hope it is okay to tell about what happened. I don't want to bore anyone.
1.) When I was 10 years old, I stayed overnight with my friend Kathryn at her grandparents home. This home was one of the oldest plantations in Louisiana.
As soon as we turned the lights off to go to sleep, I kept hearing someone (something) running up and down their spiral staircase. Whatever it was, was wearing what sounded like the old riding boots. Very heavy footsteps.
I was the only one who heard it though. I finally hid under my blankets and went to sleep.
2.) In 2000 my Mothers beloved Dog, Rena passed away. A few days after Rena passed, I looked out my Mothers kitchen window, and Rena was running around the yard sniffing the grass, and looking around. Kind of freaked me out.
3.) This same year I was renting a home from a close friend. Very nice home it was. Until the door to the laundry room would open and close by itself. I sat in front of that door one night watching it open and close by itself. And this was a huge, heavy door.
The living room in this house had been remodeled. One wall was closed off in the remodeling process. One day I was cleaning, and had the TV off. Just a nice silent, cleaning day. I kept hearing muffled voices in the closed off wall. It happened everyday at the exact same time. 2 P.M. It sounded like 3 or 4 people just discussing days events.
This was a 4 storied house. There were 4 bedrooms on the top floor. When I would walk down the hallway, it sounded like someone was dragging their nails across both sides of the wall. I had the house checked for mice a week later. There were no mice, roaches, termites, nothing!
I was very happy when I moved from that house. After I moved out my friend finally decided to tell me that his kids would never stay in the house alone! Some friend, right?! LOL
4.) In 1996 my Grandmother on my Mothers side had passed away that morning. I was sitting on the floor in the dining room, looked up, and I seen my grandmother in the kitchen staring at me. Grandmother smacked the calendar off the kitchen wall, then vanished.
5.) I've had several different experiences in the home I'm living in now. All the bedrooms are on the top floor. I had to start sleeping in the living room on a couch.
Every single time I would drift off to sleep upstairs, I would feel someone either touching my shoulders, or my back. Something also pulled the blanket off of me up there at least 3 times. One of those times I distinctly heard someone breathing in my ear.
We can't shut any of the closet doors, or bedroom doors upstairs. If we shut them, they will be open an hour later when no one has been up there.
I've had other little things happen here and there. I'm sorry I babbled on. I'm a huge believer in the paranormal. I hope I will read other experiences in this post.
