hi i was pondering...
people those who do not believe in vampires what's the best way to show a vampire's presence to them..
I tell nonbelievers, that even those who claim to be vampires are critical of others that claim to be vampires, and that a majority of those who proclaim to be vampires have no clue, or referable sources. So I would tell the nonbeliever, way to go for shunning such an ambiguous ideal.
Personally no one will like this answer but it is similar to religion...who cares. Belief or non belief is a personal issue. There are some things that cannot be explained simply by words nor substantiated beyond personal experience at this time. There are so many views on what a vampire is that it is unrealistic to require sources and even sources are biased to the beliefs of the writer. There are a lot of books out and about written both by lifestylers, those that call themselves by the label "real" and those that want to believe in an A-Typical Eastern European vampire ala Polidori or Stoker and others. I have seen scholarly articles by people supposedly working toward their PhDs and wondered about their sources since they parrot things that have been clearly proven erroneous. So what does it matter what someone else believes? If everyone believed the same things about anything there wouldn't be a myriad of religious views, political views and anything else someone can come up with. Quite frankly many read the wrong websites online most of the time and my question isn't about non believers but why do many get so mixed up between the community beliefs, fiction/historical and books/movies? They get lumped together and unfortunately some explanations can be made but not in terms of western medicine or belief systems usually. So again my answer is I don't give such things to non believers anymore because I don't care what they believe. In the end, it will only be rationalized.
What right do I have to tell someone what is and what isn't real. Just because my beliefs are different doesnt always mean I am right. Hence I would just say you have the right to believe what you wanna believe as do I.
PPL who try to push their belief onto ppl instead of letting them have their own opion are just full of themselves and they need to take a step back and get a life.
First you must lift the black veil, then you have to get away, which is easier said than done.
I would tell them the same thing I tell anyone. If you wish to know about my beliefs I will tell you or give you some info site. But if you wish to make fun then I would gladly leave.
Again, I believe this has been answered quite nicely. There isn't much more if anything, that can be added to this.
