Exorcism is basically doing a ritural where you try to bring demons or evil spirits out of the body using faith.

Now question.

Is it possible that many people we have sentenced to life in prison and executed for wrong doings, instead of it being a mental reason why they did it, or being cruel, could it be they were possesd?

There is much evidence of exorcism, most of it held in the Vatican. They do not wish to share such information. Maybe somebody can find a leak into this. Most search engines spew out the same stuff as Linda Blair's performance. I believe any possessed person is in a certain state of mind that is heavily induced by a non-science. What is a non-science? It is what scientists have found no answers for and therefor should be discarded. They live in a closed world, to them perhaps the only "World". Who is to say if something is right or wrong? If you can not see, touch, feel, taste or hear something, then why does not some thing manifest. The power of the mind can make all things true. So, if a person is possessed then that is fact. It is such a shame so many people lost their own lives over blinkered thinking, and it was always a cruel ritual (and still is). This belief persists today from all cultures. Leave the science and let us all keep open minds.

To my understanding, when someone is possessed with a manlicious spirit, that spirit then drives them to do unrational and most of the time, violent things.

So, yes the possibility is real.

But how do you sort out the victims from the real criminals, espicially in a world full of skeptics?

not to mention that when there is a need for exorcism it is most definitely not just in the body but could also simply follow them until expelled out, either by people of faith or, by those with the capabilities of the psychic who can use their own power to drive the evil spirits or demons out.
Well, there are usually signs in which to tell between the victims and those who are not really possessed, but ultimately the best way to do it is introduce those in prison to ways of releasing the evil parasite that invaded their body.
As for the skeptics, they would just have to be taken out of the loop, and those that are to be surrounding that particular case must either have experience, or knowledge, or belief that such a thing could happen.

I would have to say yes, that is a possibility. Where becoming the vessels of the "spirit" which is contrary to mans law, one becomes possessed by some "inhuman" or "anti-social" logic where by one commits crimes.

From this one could be ridden by the spirit of the "crime" which can then leave the individual after the deed has been committed, as it existed solely for that act to bring forth other avenues of manifestation.

Depending on the depth of the possession it might be with the child since it came to this plane at birth, or it could be only manifest at that time of interaction which the will retreats and the deed takes over in a switch of "the inner voice". just depends on the truest nature of the soul.

that could be very well true. but to actually have an exorcism performed by a preist is almost impossible as you would need the pope writen permission for the priest to actually perform the exorcism.

but even then the fact of the matter is that the first form of exorcism is actually pagan in origin with that said how is itl that most often it is only with the priest from the church of christ does said exorcism's work. that has baffled my mind for some time. but that is only my thought on said manner

From what I learned, priests aren't the only ones who can exorcise people.

At this point in time,I do not believe that spirits can possess a person.This is the power of the physical realm.

I have no reason to believe that people truly become or can become possessed. I think most things can be explained through science. I think failures have been proven that faith doesn't work in cases like Anneliese Michel or Emily Rose, who die from such practices. It could be something as simple as a mental disorder. Maybe her environment created it, or she encountered something that sparked her strange behaviors. We always run to our local religious practioner whenever something "odd or fearful" happens that we can't explain, thinking they are "possessed".

It could be possible that they (the negative energies) dont possess but give little pushes to make the people do what they do. I do believe, however, that people are responsible for their actions, especially if something like that would be the case, they should still be judged according to as if they did it themselves.

Those days my wife was away to her maternal place in in Calcutta in other state West Bengal to meet her dad and mom and enjoy there few days. My home is in Bombay Maharashtra state.

One night after dinner I was reading one Magazine. whiling turning pages I found one whole page was covered by one beautiful ad. That ad picture was only two beautiful female eyes (one set of eyes). that set of eyes was very colourful charming and pulling the watcher. I got one mischivous idea of trying exorcism. I told mom that I am going to my room to sleep and to pat the door in morning 6 am. that was the time 11.50 pm night. I went to my room and closed the door. on bed I layed that magazine on bed and I too layed on the bed. I did drink final half glass of water before the test and then put zero power bulb on. in zero power rest of the mattered covered in the dark but those two eyes was shining and pulling. I started my concentration on the entities in the vicinity area of two miles to become my room centerpoint and trying to pull the entity or soul or ghost through those eyes. but it was summoning to only friendly or non harming souls or ghosts.

after 15 minutes suddenly bulb went off. I feared a little and then rushed to switchboard and put the tubelight on again. I did put off the zero power bulb and again tried to on. it switched on and then I offed the tube light and again started pulling the entity. after 10 minutes again the bulb went off and this time the main switch was tripped. but tube light was pertaning to othe main switch so it was on and I went to main switch after checking the bulb. I did put on main switch and then I started trying again. and Again after 5 minutes the bulb went off. but this time the bulb really fused off and its fuse damaged.

this fuse off of bulb really feared me and I did put on the tube light for 5 minutes and thinking over it and then abandoned the exorcism test.

I dont know what led to uncontrolled flow of energy to the bulb. But my conscious stopped me that this might be dangerous if it was really nearby exorcism.

But now I am thrilled on the flow of energy due to concetraed pull.

That might be the reason for some of them being locked up but from someone whose personally been locked up, about 85% of the time the individual is faking just to get a reduced sentence.
