Has anyone else heard of this/ read up on it?
It is said to be a point that Moves up from our Umbilicus at Birth- to one year of age- it.
Carlos Casatanda's Wild shamanic trips lead him to believe that this point and it's position in our body, determines how we feel and behave- Currently this is being investigated by scientists. Apparently we have the ability to 'change'this assemblage point in order to imprpve physical and mental health.
The assemblage point scientists also state that our 'life' energy never ceases.. it changes form, so after we die, our energy changes.
This is very interesting & I wonder for those of you that have heard of this, what you think of it.
Have looked up in google and found that as usual money making is high on the agenda.
Must say have never heard of it till now.
Changes of energy etc is not new though.
Don't know how other people feel, but I am either drawn to a thing or not.....this particular thing, I'm not.
talk to some of my friends and to my mother and her friends...those are all doctors and medicine professors.. none of them heard of it... its most likely some phictional treatment like there were hundreds before
Well, their argument is that our 'energy' has to come from somewhere...
The Assemblage point is the 'energy core' as they suggest.
I have never heard of this beofre, either.. but it intruiges me as it is true that all things have to come from, somewhere!!

The life energy does not cease at the time of physical death. The quantum physicists, such as Fred Wolfe and John Hagelin ( and many others) have asserted this for years.
This is what is asserted in "The Secret". This is also what Ernest Holmes believed. I would also suggest that you check out the "The Divine Matrix" by Gregg Braden
Lord Fangor.. is there anything from those scientists that poses Fact on WHERE the energy COMES from?
This is why I was interested int he Assemblage Point theory.
Sounds like CHI in the Asian Culture/Martial Arts, your bodies energy is centered in your "Chi" and if you can control it,you can use this "force" to move a person or object by barely touching it.
Wow.. thanks DarkWolfman.
Yes it does sound similar Now you mention that
Just here to help out...yeah...I have been studying martial arts and asian culture for a long time now.
So, what Don Juan is Bringing forth is that the Assemblage point is ONE point that produces and recives this energy, whereas 'Chakra's' from what I understand, have several points throughout the entire Body. It appears his Theory is over looking the many points.. He suggests it is One whole circle starting from the Assemblage point, around the body, and Back Into the body.
And that moving it, can change ones health both Mentally and Physically.
I have always been fascinated in how this energy is produced and where it actually comes from.
I like to learn about other theories.
Stabb666, Thank you very much for your information, it is nice to know someone else has heard of this.
Minx,
Not to get too Yoda on this, but consider that all things, all energies, all beings throughout the world, the galaxy, the entire universe, are linked, in a never ending chain which continually flows from one point to another.
And yes, it is possibly the main point at which energy is received and transposed across the various other points.
Maybe even it could be that the Chakra's are each linked to it, sort of it being a hub and their very existence being dependent upon the supply of energy from this one point of realisation.
Much like Bruce Lee's 1 inch punch,he could focus all his energy into a punch 1 inch from a peice of wood or a mans chest and knock the man backwards off his feet or break the wood cleanly
Minx- the energy that was created from the big bang. it is all there is, all that has ever been and all that will ever be. the energy that is released from a nuke blast is not NEW, the energy that is in your body has always been and will always be.
Another book you might want to read is " Quantum Self, Human Nature and Consciousness Defined by the New Physics" by Dana Zohar, 1990, ISBN 0-688-10736-2
Minx...excellent thread. I have been interested in this subject for a long time. I have not heard of the assemblage point and will be researching.
Stabb...Thank you. The information you gave is not new to me...just presented in a different way that made a deeper connection for my knowledge.
Lord Fangor...Thank you for the reading suggestions. They will be used.
I have to agree with Stabb. The entire world as we know it is energy. Everything you can see channels energy through it. So, our bodies channel energy also.
My studies have never included the Assemblage Point. But, the Hindu's believe when they are looking at another human being, they are seeing seven seperate energy centers that work together or interact and connect to maintain the body.
These seven centers are of course the chakras. As chakra is Hindu for Spinning Wheel, this word is excellent at describing the connection between all seven.
I am not adverse to the idea of an assemblage point being in the crown, umbilicus, or heart. Every wheel has to have a starting point.
My focus is the concept that it is never ending. The continual cycling is what makes our energy stay in balance and flow properly.
Excellent thread and I will be researching assemblage points.
Stabb666, do you know of any Books on Dr Blaen's researches/studies on this?
Thank you all for your input
Minx.
Dr Angela Blaen has a book called, The Assemblage Point Handbook.. you can find it at this site.

Sorry if it is not what your looking for...
Hope that link helped you out i am looking for more information on this subject now so i may have more links later if i find any good information...
VampiressWarrior,
May I ask, what leads you to think this?
I am interested in your thoughts there.
