Here is a topic that I think many can relate to.

What do you feel about personal transformations, and ways to increase your power beyond a simple feed to the devouring of lower/weakened/spiritual entities, or energetic bodies to sustain youself with?

What sort of things have you discovered about these acensions? What methods have you tried? What would you not do in order to increase power?

I have not personally tried these, but I feel that they are wrong in a sense. For some people they may be good, but to each his/her own.

Could you expand on your post please, as in what sort of transformation- physical, spritual, energetic?

And by devour, do you mean entirely absorb some form of energy entity, or ar you talking of analogies?

i would try anything to increase my power atleast once inner or even outter energy alot of the psychiv vampiric methods seem to work but usually give off a negative affect.

Sorry bout that, here we go.

In a previous thread I asked about the consumption of energies as a means for increasing the power for your spiritual energies.

In the Adversial Magicks that I have studied, most recently the Liber IHVH by Michael Ford, it has, along with my own practices shed some new light, well rather a different light on things.

There are ways to summon up entites, and then draw their essence into yourself, so that you consume what makes them what they are. In a sense you devour the entire spirit, as one would ciphon off from the prana flows of the living body.

I have myself noted interesting side effects as well as advancements in some areas of my development. I am asking those who are familiar with this kind of vampiric growth, what their results were. If they found some methods I know from experience work better, and has anyone used the project of the Az and Ahrimian Serpent visulization to bind said spiritual body, and consume it?

The side effects are always different. But since it is a form of balance and survival of the fittest, then it becomes more of, how well one can integrate the new energy with the old.

as it has been said to me "There is no good, and no evil, there is those with power, and those without."

So dealing with the failings of the flesh to support the influx of energy is just part of it. If the purpose in life is to learn lessons. But why should one remain spiritual weak, when one can refilter the energy into somthing that emphasis preditory spiritual vampirism.

And you do not think you can gain this power internally?

I know you can gain this power internally. It is far more effective to learn the powers yourself. But there comes a time when your just hungry and be it an angelic force, or demonic force, and ya just gotta chow down so to speak.

I am just looking for the other peoples experiences with this. Not a questionare on the morality of such actions. I am what I am, and I do what i do, as one who walks in shadows, for me this is on my path. I seek those that do the same. Side effects are irrelevent, morality is irrelevent, in this case.

I haven't brought up morality at all, just wondering whether the price of gaining power in that manner is worth the cost. I personally would trust more in my own power as there is no saying what might happen in your use of stolen power, whether a backlash would occur, or some other unforseen circumstance. As it is entirely possible even probably for some sort of intent or memory to be transferred over in the energies you have siphoned off.

My appologies, the tone spoke of morality. Yes there are unique sideeffect, such as lack of emotional stability, and a slight case of insanity. But the moments of clarity bring forth power when power is needed.

I would much prefer things be different, but the same i would be comparing to eating beans....

beans are protien, it is good for you
cooking beans gets rid of gas and makes it less offensive to those around you.
Over cooking them and you have grossness,
Under cook them and you have indegestion...

i would liken consuming such as spiritual indegestion....where you will have to regain and assert control over your abilitys for a time afterwards adjusting what you thought was control, to a new control, learning the new triggers that bring such power.

If you have reasons to use this, then yes, it becomes worth it.

Hm ok I do see your point and attempting to keep my own moral and spiritual views out of it (which is hard, hehe), I can understand your desire to achieve a quick fix, however in my experience quick fixes rarely leave you with the desired result in the end. I tend to look at a more long term approach which I completely understand is very frustrating for some but then I'm also not into asserting my own power over others.

Yes, it comes down to it. Do the means justify the ends. There are ways to expand power by grafting your essence to the elements. Then you have a foundation. You then merge with spiritual energies, keeping yourself in the centre, and then assimilating all of it, coming up with a new personality, mindset, and purpose in things.

Ok that is a very interesting point. I'm wondering though whether after all of the grafting and assimilation has occurred, how much of the original "you" persona is left, and how much is the wants, needs, drives, desires of the energies you have taken. Do you have this issue? Or is it just my overactive imagination? ;)

Persoanlly, I do have this issue. I dont remember anymore then fragments of myself. It would be as it would be like looking at a quilt, and seeing how much of the design is original patterns, but it still remains in essence the same quilt. However the patterns change, grow. It is in flesh I am the same. My mind has missing memories, and blank calms. My soul, Has capacities I haven't dared draw upon, and my personality is erratic.

Yet, I have managed to piece these threads, and make a tapestry that is just well, unique...and the fact that I exist is my desire, and there is no abuse, and balance, because all returns to the void in the end. Its just how interesting do we want the journey on the way?

Some would also that you are what you eat. So if what you eat is the spiritual source of the energy you desire, or you can live on the cast off scum that humans create in their wake.

Agreed. That's probably a whole nother topic in its own right. Absorbing the freely given off energies of a mob is probably not the best way to gain, depending on the mood of the mob in question.

But my mind is in tack, not missing threads. So each their own.

stealing or not, I think it all depends from who you take it from, a demonic entity, or a good one that willingly give it to you...this is kind of the basic to growth or not

being a spiritual vampire bring a whole new meaning and level i feel to vampirism i think personally that anyone that does spiritually consume an entities essence takes on parts of their aura in a spiritual sense although i can see how it can be beneficial i also think it can turn one who is a positive feeder into a negative one if they consume the wrong kind of energy.

Above someone said to feed off of "stupid, happy" people. I agree and disagree. And, it was said that you can "live off the cast off scum humans leave in thier wake".

The type of energy you are discussing above is negative energy feeding. It is difficult to devour these type of people. We seek those who can teach us and help us.

That is the point of spiritual development...isn't it? To grow in spirit? We take knowledge in, review it, take the parts we can use and apply them to our life.

So, instead of feeding off the energy of the above, I do it a little different. I take the interactions of my day...good and bad...and draw the energy from them. It gives me constant input/feeding. And, I have met the most interesting people. :)

Interaction within my environment allows me to pull energy from others with thier enjoyment. I don't feel I am "stealing". I feel as if I am sharing a recipriocal relationship with those people.
