Well of course. Not to say that I think power of that kind can be transferred. You either have it or you don't.

Yes more often than not, that and fear of death, the idiots have no idea what they're looking into...some die, some go bonkers.
I think that is why it makes naughty otherkin laugh so much, the old adage careful what you wish for...springs to mind. What is more, it interests me that views on whether its a retrovirus, spiritual or both differ so much. perhaps a Poll would give a better idea, unless one has already been done? anybody know?

I am of an opinion not a belief that most seeking a creature like a Vampire would be doing it out of fascination with a few perhaps seeking a Vampire for power?

I didn't know vampires had any "power" to begin with. I mean, what do they have power over? They aren't running this country (or any other). They aren't heading up fortune 500 companies.

The power they would have (to me) would be so minuscule, that it wouldn't even matter.

This would be better suited as a poll question.
