I really want to know what its like to sence another vampire. What does it feel like? Im sure I have detected others like me, but first I want to know how you feel when you sence another?

I haven't sensed a Vampire ever...Well not one that really needs to feed off of others to survive.

I've met people who are into the lifestyle...sometimes they dress differently, or present themselves so people know that they are into something "darker".

Other than that they're pretty normal.

It all depends on the person how you would feel.

I personally can't FEEL other vampire's as a feeling, it's more of like I just know....hard to decribe

If you were truly bloodlen "trueblood", you would find it instinctual, no not all vampires are differant about the way they feel one another is around. This is instinctual feeling, like that of smelling the pharamones of a male/female walking by.

It is not like the movie: Highlander, you just know when others like yourself are around...No, I will not describe what this feels like...As it truelly is not my place. If you are "trueblood" you know what I mean.

there are no sensing vampires because they do not really exist

Since I am not possessing the abillity of plainly detecting other vampires around me, I find it of great use, to make use of a heat detecting device, wich shows the differences in body temperature of a vampire, when compared to a body temperature of a human.

It is a safe mean of detecting vampires, since its technical parameters of measure, never mistake the temperature value of a monitored organism.

I am yet to evolve my inner senses, in order to feel the presence and energies of other vampires and other creatures in general, in a conventional way.

I guess it comes with age.

for me it is a energy detection cannot realy describe it just feal it when others are arround

there's nothing special when i find another sang vamp around. now, i dont know if psy vamps feel something different, since they feed off energy... maybe they may sense something different

sometimes its a tingling sometimes it is awareness it generaly depends on your abilitys waht are you abilitys?

I am not too sure if a vampyr can actually detect another vampyr per say, but I would guess that if a vampyr sires another, then he/she would always know where their sired one would be at any given time.

Give me a break already. It has nothing to do with energy detection, think of something else for a change.

How it feels depends on you. It's different for each person.

Although it may be different for everyone, if you are a vampire the survival need to sence danger or someone of your own kind should just be a part of what you are. Like an animal can smell it's prey.

Well I don't really think you can detect a vampire, I mean unless they REALLLLLLY put it out there on themselves that they are. o.0

Besides of using my heat devices of detecting various different organisms wich share the environment with me, of great use I find my own highly trained sense of smell. The fact that I have managed to elevate my sense of smelling to a higher level thanks to the excessive excercise trough the years, by practicing in the forests, and many different locations like cities, snowy mountains, deserts, to deepest caves I could get, is of unique use as well, in helping me detect various different aromas wich are usually uncommon to be sensed on a human body, wich are on the other hand automaticaly suggesting that there is a blood sucking entitie in the near vicinity, wich's naturaly radiated aroma is just simply indicating that we have something very different around, more than a ordinary biped.

Of course, the natural conditions might prevent me from sensing certain things, like a strong concetration of another aroma in the air at the same time, or a very still weather, with zero wind activitie in the air, wich should normaly automaticaly bring the molecules down the stream, so we can say that the smelling capabilitie is not a perfect measure in all cases.

Out of these experiences it is logical to have a tendencie to improve ones skills, in a technical way of science and technology, like for example the already mentioned heat detecting device wich never fails its duty.

Make sure you recharge it regularly.
