Im thinking the vampire as we know in books is sexual and more attractive now after ann rice gave the vampire a tormented soul, before the dark prince Dracula was a tragic love stories that transcends time, we relate to it on many levels.
I feel The reason we find that attractive is we feel we have a soul and were not totally evil just a very dark nature sometimes… speaking for myself.
When I say we Im speaking to those dependent on energy feeding or blood, we identified with the new image of todays vamp.

Well im currently reading Atlantis by Michael Tsarion and it’s hitting home with my own alternative history knowledge from authors like graham Hancock finger prints of the gods and Michael tsarion to name a few

I guess it would help if you know of this book and alternative history…. I guess my basic question is this…..
Just like we know to fear a snake or a spider or wasp, a built in survival DNA.
Is our deep psyche seeing this vampirism entity just an echo of warning from a past in our DNA.
Is it now being activated as we close in on 2012 which I believe is not the end of the world just a change in mans mind and control.
So I guess is our love for this vampire image part of a collective mind and warning that we are expressing with our energy taking and blood drinking

Break it down…. Us vampire living beings believe we are expressing and dealing with something inside that fits the description of vampire in some or all of it’s understanding and descriptions and desire for energy or blood being a main topic.

I think this popular image of a vampire expressed in books and liked or hated by people is part of a collective thought as explained by Jung a belief we are all cosmically connected together and through time.

I was wondering if this collective thought was a warning from a time long past now being accelerated by the onslaught of 2012 a special time to do with just one calendar of an ancient race.

Some things are ment to be dismissed, specifically those things talked about surrounding the topic of 2012. From the Atlantis storyline, vampires, all the way to heritage and Freemasonry believe it or not.

Somethings just should not be talked about until revealed to the world. This is all I am saying. Though you do have a pretty good idea Lav. Keep up the studies.

Thats interesting. When you read the current research on genetic engineering, sometimes, even when the scientists know what gene causes a certain trait, they find that other genes affect the operation of trait in unexpected ways.

Some scientists have created single cell organisms by creating engineering dna strands and attaching them in certain sequences. You wonder how advanced life was created.

Well the vote is open on junk DNA … I would like to be told more on something that is “80% un used” and left over from evolution……. It is believed or it was placed in there as it also show junk DNA makes us evolve as well …. What we will become who knows.

I think that lavisbre has a good point there. It could be in our DNA and some of us have tapped into it and we are expressing it. I think that it makes sense.

Since your DNA is what you are, (what you were) and what you will be, I think that everything in there is there for a reason. And the "junk" dna is still just a mystery to sicence. I also agree that you have to be at least aware of your deamons in order to grow and change.

The one area we haven't addressed as far as DNA goes, is how viruses can add DNA to cells. There are some that believe that life first formed on this planet due to dna strands that were deposited by cosmic debris (meterites, etc..) that contained things like viruses.

Can a sentient being seed a planet by dropping DNA onto the planet. Do we still see the remnants of this DNA in us.

I think that DNA contains what we will be a s well as what we have been. And the body does have a racial memory. slightly off topic but when you are under extreme stress or anxiety your body reverts to the fight or flight syndrome and you lose your fine motor skills and in effect turn into a caveman ugg kill or run away. So for me yes it is possible that DNA will contain the information on what we can become

Yes Lore im well aware of the fight or flight issue, it is based on adrenalin overload, felt just before a big football fight or accidental discovery of a wild animal charging you.
And I guess that is part of the built in survival tactics of the human race and a fine point.

that is a very good question and difficult to answer but let me give it a shot. there is a lot of theories about our connection with the end of the world. what I think is that we are here to prepare humanity for the end by feeding of there energy and blood. show them what will happen to them and what they may feel when the end comes. I don't believe we are evil because we are trying to survive like everyone else is. but we are like demons due to us having to feed of blood to sustain energy. We will probably be forced to condemn the wicked and kill them by draining them of blood and energy. So i believe we will play a big part in the end of the world but we will not know until it comes

I don't think it's a warning from the past because even though, I do believe in past lives, I don't believe they're encoded into our DNA.

what do you think is ... where does a horse get it's need to stand fast after being born? where do our fears of snakes n spiders in infants develop from before they were told they know… genetics is DNA

Not all children are afraid of snakes and spiders when they're babies. It's all based on surroundings. If their parents have pet spiders or snakes they naturally shouldn't and won't be afraid. Or if they just have high curiousity they won't be afraid either. But if they're raised to fear them, they will.

Equally not all find spiders playfull as some dna is fazed out by natural selection and others develop and those that have a warning dna will do better ….. that’s a fact and say 2012 works then you might just well wish you had such DNA again

I also believe that all DNA is for a purpose and not Junk...and that it is not a warning of the past but something learned by the individuals culture and/or ethics and morals taught to them.

Children aren't scared of spiders because it's hard coded into their DNA; they apply a see monkey do monkey approach. Children are sometimes more fearless than adults because they don't know the danger behind most things.

I believe that our DNA has to with our life now. they are still learning about DNA and all its aspects

I think the DNA is advancing but I am not sure that our DNA keeps a memory i think we learn to fear things that are dangerous to stay a live. Some people never learn those leasons cause to have Fear you must be afraid of dieing and not everyone is afraid of death.

I agree I think fear is a "learned" trait.I don't think its just in us to be afraid of something.
