The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I recently created a mentorship called The Barracks and I'm in the process of creating pages that will help people not only on VR, but in real life as well.
I would like some feedback on it if at all possible.

If there is any advice to be given or if anyone would like to actively participate in helping me with them it would be very much appreciated.

What I would actually like is feedback on my awareness pages.
You don't really see any on major networking sites anymore so I figured, as a medic, it was my job to post some for everyone to view.
Especially since we have more and more younger members joining the site.

What I'm really asking is if the pages give enough information and if there is anything I can add to improve on them.

Everything looks good.
I will read through it more later and see if anything is missing.

They look good to me and that predetor page is perfect I think you really can't say it enough about giving out your numbers and stuff and personal info or even meeting people online your right you shouldn't go alone if you deiced to actually meet someone from the net good job

You did well on covering a great many details. It will definitely be a good help to those who are in need of it.

Not sure exactly what you want. awareness in what exactly?

Personally I think that mentorships need to be about VAMPIRERAVE in general. They are supposed to help people learn the rules, learn their way around VR, about TOS, FAQs, the VR Manual, html help, what to expect when they get into a coven, about the various admins on the site - as who to turn to for help - their various jobs and what they do cover and do not cover....That kind of thing.

What I don't think the mentorships need to be about?

Werewolves, witches/wicca, demons and general discussion mini covens. ANYTHING not pertaining to the purpose of VR. The purpose of the mentorships were to help people learn about VR - not for joining them just to get points to help them level up.

My Mentorship is solely for the purpose of helping people around VR and nothing more. There are some great mentorships out there - the rest of them are ridiculous be ause they dont even pertain to anything to do with VR or helping people learn the rules - its like Adopt-A-Whelp that House Eternal had, but now more people are able to become involved

My primary job is a Medic. I help others learn about dangers on and off line.
My mentorship covers VR rules as well and helps the new members learn about the site but I also wanted to incorporate part of my job into it as well.

Aside from what we discussed through private messaging, you're doing fine and your pages look good. Set up your Mentorship as you see fit and to suit your needs. Everyone on this site will have their own opinions and needs in regard to what they think is best for Mentorships, which may not be the same as your own. Keep at it. ;)

The pages look great, I wasn't exactly sure what you were asking earlier, so I answered as best as I could. I have all my pages public, I feel that making them private would keep people who I can not mentor from being able to use the information there. Not everyone can be in a mentorship. If you would like to look at them to gain ideas, please feel free.

I've made all mine public as well.
I'd actually like everyone to participate in them if they want to or can.
A few pages I'm planning will have separate scroll boxes for comments or stories that members might want to add to back up lessons in the pages or to add their own ideas.

Your mentorship can be about what ever you want it to be. Cancer never said it had to be about VR alone. Mine is a mixture. I think your pages look good and are easy to read. I add information as I go along if I find something that I feel needs to be said outloud. Attention to detail is good and you don't muck it up with flashy pages.....which a lot of people like. I for one like working with the codes to make my pages different than most.

Looks great, can't think of anything that needs changing as you've covered all the bases !

Okay, new question.....

I'd like to add personal stories to my pages from people who have had these types of problems. They'll be put in they're own little scroll boxes and you can have your screen name put in them or you can remain anonymous. Either way, I'd like some to add.

I've added a page for the different emergency contact numbers for different countries.
If anyone would like to add their country, if I haven't gotten it already, please respond. I want to add as many as I can. ^_^

First Aid for Civilians

It is nowhere near being as complete as I want it to be and that's where I need everyone's help.
I need your questions on first aid.
I need to know what you're curious about.
It will help me add knowledge that the general public thinks it needs to know.

The only dumb question is one not asked and if you're thinking it, a good number of other people probably are too. So ASK!
